This close to the World Cup Kavian jaan, results do matter very much IMHO. If we're going to do anything noteworthy in the WC, we have to be able to one, score against a quality African side and two come out of the match with 3 points.

I think there's a HUGE psychological barrier we have to overcome before the WC and be confident we can win important matches... something we didn't do last time around. Had we beaten Nigeria in the first match, I think things would have been very different in that group.

As long as we play with confidence I can't see we're gonna lose a single match except against Spain maybe. Yeah moreover we'll win most of the friendlies and will win also against Portugal & Morocco. The only loss in the group stage would be most probably against Spain and this is only because they're technically one of the most attractive playing football teams in the world currently. Back in 2014 our squad was limited but now we got players who are almost leading the top scorer rankings (Belgium, Greece, Netherlands..). There is a real team spirit, everybody is proving himself to get a spot in the squad.. I can't absolutely see why we should be worse than Morocco or Portugal. Also Portugal is way too much overrated, everything depends on Ronaldo.. See what we managed to do against the whole Argentinian team (with calibres like Messi, Di Maria, Aguero, Lavezzi, Higuain,...). If we won't get to much unlucky we should make it to the second round this time!
