yea the guy who got stamped by massud was dirty prick... he was hacking our players left n right and the terrible ref was letting him get away with it..!!
that said shojaee shoulda show much more restraint ... if he pulls such a thing at WC, he will surely be sent off and put us under tremendous pressure..!

Overall, a seriously underwhelming performance from TM in the 1st half... way below potential, WAY below what's expected of a World Cup team, except maybe Saudi Arabia!
I get what CQ's trying to do here... he loves the whole underdog thing, he wants to come in and surprise the opponents during a tournament... it was a GREAT idea but it hasn't worked. So it's time to change mentality.
You have to come into the WC as a contender (like Costa Rica and Algeria in the last WC) or go home... to come in as a contender, you need "zahre cheshm". you have to show before the WC starts that you're not going to be no pushover.
So far, I haven't seen that since we qualified for the WC... it has been same old same old... I really hope things change and CQ does actually believes in himself and that our boys are going to pull a major upset in the WC and eliminate either Spain or Portugal!
Not a small task but in competitive sports you need believe in yourself and aim high... there is no other way IMHO.

Why did IFF accept to play on this pitch? It wouldn't have harmed to play Tunisia in Europe.
Also, why did they agree to let an Egyptian officiate this game. It's a bit like a Saudi officiating an ACL game between Perspolis and Al-Ain.
Oh I forget that we have a 5* federation.Last edited by 04041374; 03-23-2018, 12:19 PM.

P.S. Sorry if this is a double post but 19:00 is Cava (Spanish sparkling wine) time in Spain!

the footing is loose AF & the overall playing conditions are horrible today ..!! barring a few really weak performers such as AK, everyone else did reasonably well..!!
i know it seems hard to get a goal but Reza must get a goal if he wanna stay significantly relevant in our WC scheme..!!
Rwing also needs a bit of adjustment as the Rezaiean and Ansarifard combo aint really clicking today..!
Amiri is scrappy and really rough on the edges, but no one can question his Workrate and the fact that(unlike Ansarifard and ali karimi) his presence is always felt on the pitch and he is always in the tick of all the action, especially on the LW
