Many of us were talking about beating Mexico and Portugal in 2006.

Yes, on a good day we might be able to surprize these teams, but realistically speaking Spain and Portugal are the big favorites in this group. I see Iran and Morocco on the same level, with Morocco having the advantage of more international experience in their squad. Both teamshave to fight for their life in the opening match and anything is possible.
We could've beaten Mexico if it weren't for Daei and Mirzapour.

Maybe, but were simply lacking physical fitness to play for 90 minutes in both games. Our team gave way in the middle of the second half.

The first 10 minutes were very bad. After that we had some good combinations and the action which resulted in the penalty was very good. Overall it was a good performance but we still lacked consistency during the game. We were really good when we kept the ball but we had some moments during the game where we lost the ball too easily in dangerous areas.

I think our goalkepper is shaky (he is not a starter in a spanish second division team while the n°2 gk is a starter at Girona wich is 7th in la Liga).
Our defense was also shaky at times because Saiss who plays in central defense with Benatia wasn't playing and out left back was very bad (Hakimi from Real Madrid who plays on the left wih Morocco was injured).

I thnk our midfield is good, Boussoufa is a great playmaker, Ziyech is in great form, Amrabat brings strenght and aggressiveness which we used to lack.

Our goalkeeper is a question mark and our defense can't afford any injury as the substitutes aren't anywhere near the starters.

As for the striker Boutaib isn't the most flamboyant but he is efficient and he is a hard worker and presses the defense a lot, which is what the coach wants from a striker.

We also have a good bench offensively with Boufal, Harit, Labyad...

What about Belhanda he isn’t producing much here in Istanbul for Galatasaray. What do you think about him?
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things and no good thing ever dies.

I'm disappointed with him. He is just doing ok and he is not living up to his potential. He is the least performing in the midfield but the coach loves him so he is a guaranteed starter.

I'm assuming from the way he kisses Ronaldo, it just looks so Iranian the way he kisses him. He could not be Iranian, but it doesn't surprise me if he was XD

Again if we judge Portugal by these last 2 friendlies they just had , then both Iran and Morocco have a good
                            Chance to beat them.
But Spain I am sorry , they are in a different league and I give us a %10 chance to win against them.

its not just based on these last 2, also before that they were poor: i watched the games against usa and the saudis and also the so important win against swiss they didnt look comfortable at all. we dont have any chance against spain but we really have 50/50 against portugal. as i read somewhere the coach maybe is not going to take pepe with him so that would be a big blow for them aswell. without him theyre basically useless, its more or less cause of him they won in france
