I know there have been threads before this, but the Tunisia game revealed a lot.
Shojaei is still our most creative player and the only one who can maintain possession besides Dejagah. Khanzadeh, Cheshmi, Karimi are not good enough. Torabi didn't take his chance. Gucci had one header but besides that did nothing, Kaveh was much more lively and dangerous when he was on. There is no way CQ is taking more than four forwards, so I think Gucci should get the cut. Also, whether you like it or not, Vahid Amiri will be in the squad (he will also start against Spain). Part of why our right side was more exposed defensively by Tunisia was because of Amiri tracking back. Queiroz likes him and will invite him. Majid Hosseini has had a strong season for Esteghlal and should be our fourth CB. We can't waste a spot on someone like Aghaei who can only play LB and isn't even that good. Nourafkan as backup LB, since he can also play CM.
We can also revisit this thread too in a couple days after the Algeria match, which will also be telling. As of now, this is my team:
