As much as I agree that Amiri probably not the best player in an attacking TM lineup I think he has utility value which we are undervaluaing.

He is very very fit and has speed which will be useful if we are playing a more defensive game which will need high pressing and running a lot.
It all depends on the game plan. I wouldn't be surprised if he starts against spain.

Or possibly start against Morocco even... I think CQ will play a very tight unit against Spain.

Edit: EUREKA!!! It was Kasper Schmeichel against Chelsea, which Pedro scored kind of the exact same goal we saw today on Beiranvand. Happens even to the best of keepers...

This is how I saw the match today.

* We can play well vs Morocco and possibly against Portugal if Taremi. Ghoddoos, Azmoun, and JB play in our offense and Milmo, Ghafouri, Jalal, and PAG at our D line

* Omid Ebrahimi, Khanzadeh, Pejman Montazeri, and Vahid Amiri should say good bye to NT

* Shojai is not as effective as we thought. He lost the ball so many times.

* We need to work on DM/CM position now. It seems our biggest challenge will be to find few creative and solid players there.

* We need to give some time to Torabi or Alipour to cover our LW. Amiri is out of shape and not effective. Perhaps use HajiSafi

* CQ should let Rashid Mazaheri and Hossini to play for other friendlies. Beiro is ok but not perfect. We need a better back up.

I forgot from what game it was, my weekends are no life football matches so I confuse goals

Plus lots of goals like that happen in matches that's why it isn't really a big deal.
