He made the same mistake in the first half as well. He is way too emotional for me as a goalie. Constantly screaming, needless exits and senseless time stalling.

nontheless, the terrible defensive marking from the setpiece was Most to blame for that goal and had Bai stayed in goal too, he most probably woulda been helpless trying to get touch to deflect that swift header ..!

Both Beiranvand and the defence were at fault on the Algerian goal but Beiranvand's exist was just awful. He has a tendancy of making terrible exits and this was one such example. What I also hate about him is the fact that he loves punching the ball away when he can simply grab the ball. He also makes too many risky passes in front of his net.

Overall he was actually good against Algeria. He had a few nice saves, especially the one on one against the Algerian player. Ironically, Algeria should have scored on the one on one but not on their actual goal.

No, it was an honest mistake that happens to the best of keepers. It could have been due to the weather/wind causing him to mistime his run.

In the last two games he’s had several fantastic saves, including a one on one and a few shots which he did really well on.

Every keeper makes mistakes and our defense let him down a LOT today.

1- teach Biranvand a lesson

2-test out the other keepers, maybe they are better than Biranvand

My god we should all be grateful for all these quality friendlies. I rather Beiravand commit these mistakes now and corrects them rather than in the WC when its too late.

Problem with BV is that he gets too emotional. When he's focused he can be so good with his talent but some of his mistakes are careless. Regardless, I think he's the number one choice for TM
