We must stop players from Iranian League to playing in the national team and more players invite from Europe. I hope that CQ still invites Alireza Haghighi! Alireza Haghighi is 100 times better than Beiranvand and Alireza has even European standaards and experiences!

I thought he had a much better game than the Tunisia one where he had a number of dangerous moments passing. Regarding this goal, there are really 2 questions:
1) should he have come out
2) did he come out in time?
If he never came out, you would have seen a goalie standing on his line, motionless as the ball would have headed to the top right, and I guarantee you none of you would be talking about it now. So , yes, he absulolutely made the right decision, though he hesitated and that's what led to the goal. So at least he was on the right track. The stupid dribbling and passes in the last game pissed me off a lot more.زن زندگی آزادی

He did make a poor exit, but he had numerous crucial saves in both games, and in my opinion saved our ass.
He wasn’t tested much during qualification because our defense was much better, but with experimental defensive lineups in both games, we saw that he was tested repeatedly and besides the one mistake, I think he proved why he deserves to be our keeper.
And this is coming from a guy who is very critical of him.

nontheless, the terrible defensive marking from the setpiece was Most to blame for that goal and had Bai stayed in goal too, he most probably woulda been helpless trying to get touch to deflect that swift header ..!
95% chance it woulda been a goal regardless..!
I think he had a good chance to save it if he held his ground.

Beiranvand (Algeria Goal)
It’s hard to judge him on one mistake, after such a fantastic game against Algeria.
I mean he made up for the defenders mistakes on multiple occasions and there were a few WORLD CLASS saves from him that game.
From these last 2 games, I’m really confident about Beiranvand being our starting keeper in the World Cup.

people still dont understand it seems. Yes Beira has his shortcomings, which have once again been on show in these two friendlies. But looking the positives you have to ask the question again, do we have a keep who is that much better, that much more confident, and that much more experience to warrant dropping a guy who has built up good chemistry with his back line ( the starters), has phenomenal physique ( better than any other keeper), the potential to make world class saves, and recently really impressive foot skills, not to mention the secret weapon of throws for counterattacks ( which I think he is trying to do less of so it can be a surprise in WC) ? The answer is no, some people say abedzadeh, hosseini, etc but none of them are considerably better than beira to warrant dropping him. Also you have to consider, the new GK would feel immense pressure bc he just got the number one spot from the number one right before the WC started, without having to be the starter during qualification. Perfect recipe for hashieh, not to mention an added layer of stress for the new man in goal.

shitty man marking in our box was the hallmark of our experimental CB duo in that game...!! frankly we were quiet lucky we didnt concede more headed goals in that game, cause i can recall at least 2-3 other occasions where their attackers were left Wide-open for header but they failed to connect with the cross..!!
imo , the primary fault of that goal is clearly with the kiri man marking of our whole set piece defensive markers..!!
& like i said before even if Bai had stayed on his line, he woulda had less than 5% chance of saving that wide open swift header, espcially taking into account the placement of it hitting under the cross bar and going in..!

Aren't we glad that he made this mistake in a friendly game.
The coaching staff will work with him and other keepers also.
I really don't think that CQ is in love with any particular player. If he doesn't he is the best option he will change him.
Regardless, I still think he should give other guys some time in the goal.
What if he gets injured, do you want some one in the goal that has never played one minute of international game to play against Spain and Portugal.

^ i think CQ will get experimental again at GK position in our next (vs weaker sides) friendlies...!!
it was natural to put his currently favored starter vs strong opponents to better assess if a change in GK position was gonna be a more imminent decision..!!
2 key deficiencies that Bai still needs to work on are his decision making and timing on exits (although he aint nearly as horrid on that front as Rahmati used to be..! ) and the next issue with him keep punching the ball right back to the top of the box, instead of to the sides or out to corner..!! such silly mistake will cost us dearly vs quality striker/mfdr at WC...!
