Which ONE out of Gucci, Ansarifard or Kaveh Rezaei would you take to Russia?

Based on CQ's previous choices for Iran and South Africa in world cups, he takes 3-4 forwards.

Currently the team is showing success with a front forward and support striker/wing forward in qualification and friendlies.

There is no reason for him to change the Azmoun-Taremi partnership. It is unrealistic for anyone to expect a change to a successful partnership with 10 weeks left to the world cup.

Following this, there is room for one out-and-out striker and one support forward. For the latter, he is likely to choose Amiri over Torabi. Amiri can be very clumsy and frustrating at times but his play stretches the opposition and opens holes for our offensive playmakers to capitalize on. It's safe to say he will be taking Amiri as well based on his call-ups and quotes.

So at the moment we have:

1. STRIKER: Azmoun
2. SUPPORT FORWARD: TAREMI
3. STRIKER: ????
4. SUPPORT FORWARD: AMIRI

Who would you pick as back-up for Azmoun if there were only ONE more place.

This is a HYPOTHETICAL question (because there is a chance, albeit slim, he does take another forward this time) so don't get angry with me.

gucci due to experience and he can hold the ball well also against spain and portugal he can do well

Kaveh hasn't done much of note in a TM shirt to deserve a call-up so he will miss out on current form. Karim is probably ahead of Reza currently too but I really do prefer Reza as Karim's finishing is non-existant. Hopefully we can sacrifice a defender so we take both.

I think CQ is taking two of the three mentioned (Ghoochi and Karim). But if I had to pick one, I'm going on with Ghoochi. On current form, he should probably be dropped. But he's always shown up when we've needed him most.

azmoun is not a 90 min player, and he will sub him for another striker

what matters at the world cup is how azmoun is going to take is chances, how we are going to play as a team, how were mentally ready for the big stage. other stuff is just not that important. and all the strikers here named are interchangeable

karim is simply not good enough in TM and god knows he has been afforded chance after chance after chance & he repeatedly underperforms..!! he'd be my first choice here to drop from WC squad, yet CQ clearly has a soft spot for him, and it seems as his position in the wc traveling squad is fixed..!!?

Kaveh, i like and i think he is highly adaptable, has great stamina and motor on him and once he familiarize himself the our system of play a bit more he would make a fantastic back-up offensive, all rounder, achaar farance ..!
Gooch is the only other pure target forward we got besides sardar and he has top level international experience (including WC) THE ONLY WC Scorer in the whole lot of them....and as everyone knows he is clutch in desperate situations when we have to get a goal..!
He takes my vote as the Must take in this poll..!

Rezaei is much more versatile than both Ansarifard and definitely Taromi.

I like Gucci and Rezaie

As good as Ansarifard has done in club play , he has never done good for TM

And I am just not impressed with his style of play at all

CQ will only have to cross off one person, and that person would be Ansarifard for me as well.
