How many goals is Sardar going to score for Iran?

As Sardar scored his 23rd goal in his 31st TM appereance yesterday (unbealiveable record) i was wondering how many more hes gonna score considering hes still only 23 years old. I think very few players in the world have/had scored 20+ goals for any NT by that age. I dont know where one can check stats like this but i just checked out Cristiano who like Sardar debuted at 18/19 years for Portugal and he had scored 21 int. goals (2 less than Sardar) in 61 matches (30 matches more than Sardar) by the end of 2008, Sardar's current age.
Ali Daei played his first match for Iran at 24 and scored his 23rd goal for TM at the age of 27 in late 1996. Despite his weak season for Rubin so far i still think Sardar can become our first ever int. superstar agar ghadre khodesho bedune. With his talent sky is the limit. In my opinion he is our best striker ever and keep in mind that Sardar, under normal circumstances is gonna be at this peak for the 2022 (27) and 2026 (31) world cups.
So what you guys think how many goals will he bang for TM before he retires?😎 Voted 70-80 myself.
We will get back to this thread around a decade from now.

By the way Sardar is already ranked #5 in Teammelli's list of all time goal scorers and is #1 if you count his goals per match ratio (0,74). We are lucky to have such an amazing player.

Gonna be very very hard.. You also gotta keep in mind that (especially) Asian football has changed a lot the past 10 - 20 years... Results like 17:1 (Maldives) or 19:0 (Guam) are long gone... These days you will still win against those teams comfortably but the result is going to be more like 6:0.

There is no need for such wins cause Sardar can easily score hattricks against korea and japan and Australia and Qatar and everyone else!

No way he will break the record. He has way too much competition at the striker position that will take minutes away from him. PLus he wont have the luxury to play Guam like Daei did

Why not he can play against Maldvies and Guam if we meet them in WCQ or Asian Cup Q.

I hope we have a mucht better team by World Cup 2026 and Sardar Azmoun.

Then that's what it should read and not 0! Just saying...!

I can see him surpass 60 easily, maybe even 65-70 but he is not breaking Daie's record, probably won't even come close. Not an easy feat. It's the damn world record for God's sake. And we are not playing Maldives and Guam anymore, and even if we were, Azmoun doesn't get 90 minutes against them, we have so many options now. Times have changed...Those days are far gone. Cristiano Ronaldo is 3rd and he has 81!! 28 less than Daie and he is 33 years old!! Can't believe so many of you voted 110 or more. Lol

He just scored an amazing header against Algeria, but that doesn’t justify his horrible career decisions and piss poor club form. I’m not getting my hopes up for this lad who is wasting his talent for a mid table Russian side.

I predict after world cup he ends up signing another contract with Rubin Kazan until 2025. He will get serious knee injury at RPL and ends his career early.

I actually fear that Cristiano will break Daei's record. He is 33 already but still a freakin goal machine. Just few days ago single handedly won against Egypt by scoring 2 headers within 90 seconds in extra time. I can see him play until the 2022 WC where he would be 37 just like Daei was back in the 2006 WC.

I think we all are disapponted that hes still stuck with Rubin, but we gotta give him credit for ALWAYS delivering for TM. Just think about it the guy has scored 23 times in 31 matches which is extraordinary, especially
considering that he probably only played 1 or 2 matches out of those for the whole 90
                              minutes.
