Iran may host 2022 WC?

the problem is:

qatar will not have enough beds in hotels for all guests. therefore they need help from iran, and probably bahrain and other, if they become friends again....
other problem is, qatar planed to host the world cup in just (!) 8 stadiums. a world cup with 48 teams, needs more stadiums. okay they have some more, but probably it makes sense to make it an "Persian Gulf" World Cup.

Actually the chance of an all together world cup, can probably bring us all together and become friends and partners, same as north and south korea did today. we can use the 48-teams world cup to be played in Qatar and also in Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain and probably also Oman and Iraq.

Actually i presented some years ago that the world cup just by one or two countries is not acceptable anymore. we have so many countries which can share costs and make the region better in football. there are so many chances:

- Mediterranian World Cup (hosted by cities from Europe, Africa and Middle East.
For example: From Porto, Lissabon, Rabat, Casablanca, Valencia, Barcelona, Marseille, Algiers, Tunis, Genua, Neapel, Split, Istanbul, Athens, Nicosia, Antalya, Beirut, and many more interesting destinations.
- Scandinavian-Baltic World Cup by Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania
- Central European World Cup by ....
- Caribeean World Cup by...
- South American World Cup by..
- West African World Cup by...
- Central and South African World Cup..
- Far East World Cup by China, Japan, Korea, and also Wladiwostok / Russa
and and and..

There is no priveleg anymore to host a world cup by one, or two nation. the time is over. more reginal power.

What does that have to do with the fact that iranian government is embarassing and human rights means mothing to them. Do you really think the world cup would go to iran under this government ? I think the most important things are infrastructure and women without scarf in the stadium.

They sell alcohol in hotels and licensed restaurants. I had a few nice beers next to hotel pool when I was there. My feeling is that they will probably increase the licensing for the world cup itself.

Kuwait doesn't allow alcohol to be sold so I don't know how they are going to manage that one.
