Iran Unveils Rugs Woven for Rivals at 2018 FIFA World Cup

The world is KNOWN for Iranian Persian Rugs. Persian Rugs are famous.

When I lived in the USA, many Americans asked me for Persian Rugs. Many years ago, I guess 40 years ago, I was invited to a house party in the State of Minnesota. The house showed me their Persian Rug. They were proud of it.

The Royal thieves of UK have Persian rugs in their rooms.

We are Iranians. One of our sign of Iranian heritage is Persian Rugs. It is our art and it has been displayed at the United Nations' entrance since 1969 for everyone to see the beauty of Persian Rugs.

I was in Mexico several months ago, a colleague showed me his Persian Rug. He was proud of it.

I am PROUD of Persian rugs because it represents you and me..... It is our heritage. It is our sign of being Iranian.

I agree. my friend has literally been begging me to sell him my own personal rug.

I think it's a good and unique tradition and I'm sure these carpets hang in the federations museums and offices with pride and at least it reminds the foreign viewers of something we're famous and good for instead of the usual i.r bs.

Rather ironic that we haven't unveiled our kits...yet we have unveiled these rugs.

All this BS about why do we do it when no one else does it is nonsense, be proud.
We don't need to conform, have have amazing rugs and we should be bloody happy to showcase it to the world at the beginning of every world cup match we play.

The richest Americans and others put nothing but genuine expensive Persian carpets and rugs in their luxurious and expensive homes. This is one industry that we have established our brand worldwide. No mater China or any others produce the same it needs to be genuine Persian Rug/carpet woven by none other than Persians. So one world renowned Persian brand and one world stage: the best place to renew and remind all our greatness in that particular industry. Go for it. Long live Persian Carpets.
