you are completely right, but the way iranian clubs are handling such situations after the world cup is just really annoying. The management should think about the future of its club and the upcoming goalies that could be developed into other beiranvands. I would suppose after such a great performance by our goalkeeper in the world cup clubs are willing to pay the release clause?? if they would be willing to do so then its just PP fault of not thinking of its own club future. with the money they could come out of those debts/build proper facilities to enhance player performances and develope the younger generation joining pp youth teams.

im sry if i expressed myself like this but perspolis is just annoying the crap out of me.

good move for both parties. Ali Karimi still has the potential to be a solid player for TM. Hope Schaeffer can raise his level.

It's actually a 2 year agreement. Omid will sign the contract tonight.

Hope they pay Ebrahimi good because he just joined the 10th ranked team in Qatar league!

It's really annoying that Beiranvand will pay for Persepolis' unprofessionalism. He could easily have moved without that transfer ban, which only came because Persepolis acted tremendously stupid on the Taremi saga.

Let's be honest, if he doesn't move now, he never will.

I think he uses the transfer ban as an excuse.. he just doesnt has the ambition to play in Europe...

PAG says he has offers from Turkey and Qatar, he doesn't care about the money and he wants to progress and play in a European team

Sounds promissing, but let's wait and see.

According to our very own PFDC member Burak, Trabzonspor is after PAG (as well as Majid Hosseini).

If these are the only offers he has, geopolitics once again hinder an Iranian footballer's career trajectory. PAG is 100% a top-4 league level talent and can easily play, and succeed in any top-4 league.

Saman Ghoddos said that he is not going to take the China deal even though they are offering him sick amount of money because money is not what is on his mind right now when it comes to his career.

If Turkey is his best offer he should definitely take it. He would start at Trabzonspor and they are a top 5 Turkish team.. He can transfer to the Serie A from there later!

Turkey is better than playing in Iran, China, or any of the Persian Gulf leagues. Turkey is the 10th ranked league in Europe(above Holland and Greece) and has for the past few years had a team make the knockouts in the champions league. At the very least it will improve the fitness and professionalism of our players and they will be playing alongside and against some top players.
