Now if you want join such a league, better to join their top teams, not a team like Charleroi.
Greek league is crap, no Iranian should ever join this league, even to some top teams, unless you are at the end of career, like Masoud.
Our players will not get offers from teams better than charleroi if they are coming out of iran! Plain and simple. Its a great idea in your head that iranians should only choose x y and z team and league in europe, but this mentality is totally wrong and will never lead to anything. If enough iranians go to charleroi and shine and then move to better teams in europe and do well (which looks very likely to happen), then not only charleroi, but also anderlecht, brugge, liege, etc, will look immediately to the iranian market and compete with charleroi for iranian talents. Thats how it works. First, you prove yourself to clubs, then they come after many of your countrymen once they have had good experiences. Thats how japanese took over bundesliga, and can now transfer players from japan straight to bundesliga. If we want this for our next generation, the current generation must work hard and take chances in europe, even in small clubs. We in iran know some of them have the talent to play in top leagues, and if they prove themselves in smaller teams in europe, they eventually will.

And your statements about greek league are false as well. Hajsafi improved SO much since going there with panionios and olympiakos, his performances in TM are like night and day from before. Now he plays with so much more confidence. Same for karim. Masoud is unfair to judge as somewhere in the last 1-2 years his legs just went, and it showed in his club games to where AEK didnt want to offer him a new contract, and Panionios offloaded him before that. Besides him, for ehsan and Karim greece has been excellent.

I have respect for you dadash, so I dont want to sound rude, but I really disagree with you in this case.

Actually tbh, it is not much to do with going step by step, when Kia was transferred to HSV for some crazy amount of transfer directly from IPL(which still after 20 years is one of the highest, if not highest one), the quality of our league was pretty poor. Then we saw many like Vahid, Khatibi, Pashazadeh, Mousavi join Bundesliga from Iran directly. The reason was TM was in a very good shape, so is now. We are no more in 2014-15, that players need to join Panionios, i think the main issue of our football is having quality agents, otherwise few of our players can directly move to top 5 leagues from IPL at least. The single fact that a free agent such as PAG is struggling to find a contract in top 5 league is just beyond me, shows how poor agents are in our football.

Not true, Kia went to Bochum and then to HSV from there. He was the only one who quickly established himself, Hashemian needing years and a Bundesliga 2 stint, the rest never made it.

I'm glad our boys are making much more sustainable decisions these days.

yeah and that was a very special case, mahdavikia was phenomenal in that WC in france. A young standout star who scored crucial goals. Im sure Azmoun would have gotten an even better move, but he failed to score on the international stage, same with Taremi. While I agree with you its bizarre what is happening to PAG, I think for the most part the players you see going to charleroi and panionios simply do not have better offers.

Our top teams get thrashed by Arab teams, you really think our mid table teams can compete with European teams?

We have a bit of a complex going on don't we? When vatani coach says something moronic we crucify them. If it's CQ then it must be strategic mind games or in this case he just talks a lot but Schaefer is a good coach.

Last i checked we had 2 teams in top 4 from west Asia in ACL!!! Qatar, UAE, Saudi leagues other than top 2-3 team is just crappy despite the crazy amount of money they are investing. Yes, we can never beat them in level of facilities and infrastructure, at least not anytime soon, but their local product other than very few are just crappy in general.

Kia was first on loan to Bochum, then season after HSV paid a record transfer fee to get him from Persepolis of Abedhini and that deal kind of secured Persepolis financial situation for the years after. As i said i still think after 20 years it is a record transfer fee for an Iranian directly from IPL to a top league.

Yeah but those two are probably going to concede 6+ goals over the next few games and get knocked out on some huge aggregate difference

LMFAO... Teraktor Sazi is turning into an ATM for no-name players from the British Isles. Double lol at signing another Forward when your problem is mid-field and defense.

John Malafeh is sucking Tractor's owners dry.

Friendship ended with Perspolis. Tractor Sazi is my new best friend.

Tractor has dysfunction all over. They need a defense immediately but the attack should be good if they have chemistry

All this money could have gone to a wonderful training facility or a really good academy... instead future debts the club will have to fight in court.
