Great choice he has not only had success in Iran and is familiar with our players but also had an exceptional eye for talent bringing in young/relatively unknown player to the senior side of Sepahan like sharifi, ali karimi, jahanalian, and more. Always gave chances to young players

Not a very good choice in my opinion taking all his prior disagreements with CQ into consideration. It will create no cooperation between TM and the Olympic team!

from among the available options, he was the best. but this seems to me to be a case of convenience rather than strategy for omeed team. Kranjcar was under contract with Sephan and he was fired. I think Sepahan was on the hook for his salary and well, now IFF pays him and Sephan don't have to pay him. I don't have a source or evidence for this, just what I think may have happened. Still, I like kranjcar and I think Sephan did big mistake letting him go. Perspolis let him go too at one point.

I would have rather seen Vingada as omeed team coach. he is in line with Carlos Qeiroz, they are good friends and Carlos respects him. Let's see if Kranjcar's appointment is long term or if this is just another "let's see how you do in this up coming tournament and then we'll decide" appointment. I doubt IFF has the intention or the planning ability to have a decent foreign coach at the helm of Omeed team with a long term plan on their mind, which is the main reason why I think this is may be more of a marriage of convenience than just "coaching qualification".

Still, the big problem with Omeed team remains. Clubs won't give up their players and the team fails to achieve anything. We come here shit on the coach. coach gets fired and the shit continues.
