Perspolis plays against al-Jazira on May 7 and Esteghlal will play against zob ahan on May 8 and May 15. The national team plays against Uzbekistan on May 17. Perspolis plays against aljazira again on May 18.

So that means that TM will not play with perspolis players against Uzbekistan and esteghlal players will probably not participating against Uzbekistan.
Does this mean that TM have only 27 days to prepare for the world cup? Is ACL so damn important?

Wait that doesn’t make sense. This camp is meant to test out Ligue Bartar players so Ali Alipour will have to be there if he wants a shot at making the World Cup. So basically he will accompany Persepolis because that would just leave Mensha up front.

I swear AFC needs to figure out their shit when the World Cup comes around. Every Asian league can’t change their schedule cause AFC can’t move the round 16 games to July or August or something.

I wonder what these players are thinking.. They must be worried about both situations.

This was pre-planned in advance so that players get a full day of recovery before playing for TM....

I think team melli is playin May 19th. But iran football federation they said it will be confirmed in a week time or so.

That will give our players 4 days of practice.
Iranian foreign players have these schedules:
- Amir Abedzadeh (last game May 13th - but it seems that he got Red card - so he should be back in Tehran in a week)
- Ramin Rezaeian (last game May 19th - it seems that he will miss the friendly) - he will miss Iran game.
- Morteza Pouraliganji (last game May 14th)
- Milad Mohammadi (last game May 13th)
- Ehsan Hajsafi (last game May 6th)
- Masoud Shojaei (last game May 12th)
- Ashkan Dejagah (is already in Tehran) - he will miss Iran game.
- Alireza Jahanbakhsh (last game May 6th)
- Saeid Ezatolahi (last game May 13th)
- Saman Ghoddos (not sure when their league ends and when Saman will go on break - May 26th)
- Karim Ansarifard (last game May 6th)
- Reza Ghoochannejhad (last game May 6th)
- Sardar Azmoun (last game May 13th)
- Mehdi Taremi (finished - he should be in Tehran shortly)
- Kaveh Rezaei (last game May 20th) - he will miss Iran game.

Lets not forget that we had this same problem last time around and it cost some players a spot on the world cup squad. Players like Omid Ebrahimi missed the world cup because of ACL matches with Sepahan.

There needs to be an understanding among PGPL teams that every 4 years we need our TM players for WC camps. We have 3 full seasons in between WCs to win this tournament which we have not been able to do.

everything will be fine, we have more days and time for preperation as all other nations it seems. we have exactly one month with all players, and against uzbekistan a mixed team with legionairs and IPL players will play, and i am sure, also pp ss and zobahan players will be subbed in, and even if not, it is okay we can test torabi, gholizadeh and others.

keep cool. we have enough time to prepare, and more than others....
