[VIDEO] Alireza Beiranvand - A great example of will power and hard work - RESPECT!

This video really touched my heart. I wished many people like him could make it as well, but a society like ours in Iran is just too cruel to let many of these young talents make it. It's a sad truth unfortunately.

But once in a while you hear impossible stories, and I must say: "Mr. Beiranvand, I highly respect you!".

He’s a good guy. But I often doubt his abilities as a GK that can save us certain goals in important matches. He lacks fundamentals of goalkeeping. Hope he proves me dead wrong.

RESPECT. Kind of needed to hear that today. Here I was sitting on my privileged ass thinking how hard my life has been, and the struggles I went through to get to where I am today.

Now I realise, I have had no struggle living most of my life in a first-world country. I have been given opportunity after opportunity. I have never had to worry about food or shelter. My parents always supported me.

My life is so easy, when I compare it to someone like Beiranvand.

Wow this made me so emotional. It was kind of heart breaking.

On a personal level, I am now a major fan of Beiranvand. As a goalie, I think he has some short comings and I have some reservations about him but if CQ does make him our starting goalie, I hope he has an amazing WC that results in securing him financially for the rest of his life.

He has had such a difficult life. I hope the rest of his life is much easier. He is an inspiration and definitely has my respect and admiration.

He got the respect from his fan based after that interview, but isnt he taking the same route as Rahmati?

i can somewhat relate...! we were a large family of 8 too and my dad passed away from a mishap trying to switch jobs from najaari to truck driving in order to better support our family...! i think i was 3 or 4 years old when that happened and we were forced to move to ghetto neighborhoods of Mashhad and everybody in the family had to pull together to afford a decent life..!

our break came when my oldest bro who was apparently a brilliant student got sent for higher education to USA by some program shah was running at those time.... little by lil, he helped bring the rest of us here and id say we have managed pretty well for ourselves here...!!
one thing good coming from such hardships of life is that it will toughen you up and help build your character and set u up for a more successful life than it would otherwise if you were pampered most of your life...!?

im fairly certain Bei will be our starter at WC, and i hope he has himself a monster WC and get snatched by a decent EU club afterwards ...! his monster throws are insane and catches many opposing players by surprise often..... i hope we get a goal from one of those at world cup...!! that would be amazing

Before I make my comment on this I will say that everything he has overcame to make it where he has is truly remarkable and inspirational to say the least. He worked his tail off and went through the toughest obstacles in life to be able to make it to the top of Iranian football and I’m glad he will be able to take care of his family with big contracts.

Now that being said, the berianvand of today is not the same humble individual we see in this interview. He has shown a very poor attitude since his move to Persepolis as I can recall a few instances where he lashed out at fans and the staff (for playing rado over him if I’m not mistaken). I get that it is hard to avoid hashieh when you’re playing in a sorkhabi team but he seems to be one that has been looking for it. If I’m wrong then I do apologize but I’m nearly certain there have been multiple instances where his character was in question
