Exclusion of Teymourian is gonna put us at a major risk against Morocco. None of the alternatives are good enough!

Maybe that's why he's suddenly invited Rafiei. Maybe he's gonna try him as CDM for the Morocco game.

Inclusion of Beitashour is also a big surprise, specially when he has invited all the wing backs, (Ghafouri, Rezaeian, Mohammadi, Aghaei). Maybe he's gonna try him as a DM as well. One of Rafiei or Beitashour may prove to be better than both Karimi and Ebrahimi.

Ps. Extremely happy to see Abdollahzadeh's name in the squad!

when has beitashour ever played midfield lol. The inclusion of noorafkan is interesting. Maybe he will be called up instead of Aghaei. I dont think steven will make final squad at all, as ramin, vouria, milad are locks. That leaves one more full back spot, likely a left back, so between Aghaei and Noorafkan

Wow this is awesome I’m very pleasantly surprised to see both stevie boy and soroush being considered! I really hope majid hosseini can impress the same way he has for Esteghlal.

I’m a tad disappointed ando didn’t even get a shot to show what he has got left. Haghighi being left out of the preliminary list is also a little surprising.

How many can he take to world cup this time? 22 or 32?

I thought I heard its 32 this world cup if i am not mistaken

We have serious players in defense and also in the net , although I am glad haghighi is gone, I think Rahmati’s performance lately was better than everyone else but ...

I think everywhere else we are fine, Hopefully Dejagah is going to get back in shape

Beitashour was an absentee for 4 years long and suddenly he gets the call..strange.

Well, he's too far away to be called up for FIFA maychdays regularly, but I agree it's strange he wasn't invited even once and now suddenly is again.

And Haghighi's absence actually means Beiranvand is rather fixed as number 1 for World Cup. None of the other options have ever been even close to being considered number 1 and shouldn't something big as injury or repeated big blunders happen during the next week, that certainly won't change...

It shows how worried CQ is of his defense line up that he is willing to re test beytashur

I personally think giving him one more shot is not that bad it also creates a great competitive atmosphere for other players

Also the guy could have improved a lot more from being a below average over rated incompetent player to a solid one in the past 4 years especially playing in a very physical league like the MLS

The best players to me are: Sardar Azmoun and Alireza Jahanbakhsh hope they will do the job for us!

I hope Alireza he made 21 goal in dutch league and can score easy

Other than the absence of Moharrami and inclusion of Beitashour, good list! Great to see Rafieie in the list! Imo the most technically skilled midfielder we have! Also hope Noorafkan get's into our final list, but as a midfielder not as a left defender, a very technical and smart player!
