Somehow had a feeling that one of Beitashour/Davari would get a chance again before the WC. Davari probably got his fixed spot with Duisburg a few weeks too late. 99% Beiranvand is gonna be our starting GK.

Out of this 35, he have to select 24 or 23 players. 3 will be goalkeepers, 20 or 21 will be the other players.

We have two big matches tomorrow and on Tuesday in AFC CL and everything can happen (injuries) and also in our upcoming friendlies players can get injured.....all in all Steven Beitashour form is showing up, and he scored a nice combination goal last week and seems he is more fit compared to the past, and why not, he can compete the other players, and i think CQ will cross some of the players for left and right back..it is not guaranteed that steven makes the 23 rosters.

Alipour really is unlucky for so much good quality up front. I would take all strikers to the world cup, because we will play teams, we have to score against (we may risk offensive strategies to score for wining or drawing to make the next round) so i also would take Gucci and Rezaei for sure. I think our back-line and middlefield is clear, we will sub in more offensive players if we will be back by goals..

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi

Ebrahimi, Khanzadeh, Amiri, Abedzadeh, Abdollahzadeh, Cheshmi (as CB), Ansari (as CB), Ashkan (if still not fit) and Gucci (with all due respect).

People I am surprised to see
        Beitashour and Rafie
Sadly, but Alipour wouldn't be into the final squad anyway, we have enough strikers, but I would've also loved to see Ando.

it kinda makes sense that he invited Beitashour. He has called up more or less 3 players for each position. The top 2 choices for RB are obviously Vuria and Ramin but he had to include a third option in case of any last minute injuries, etc. Moharrrami, as much as I love the guy, doesn't have the international experience so why not having Beitashour as back up.

I think what has failed to be mentioned yet is the possibility that Queiroz has analyzed Ramin at his club and sees his effectiveness as a RW and some of his shortcomings as a RB.

He may opt to move Ramin up to RM to be a backup for JB.

Thus the inclusion of Beitashour, if he makes the team, is to fight for the RB position with Ghafouri.
We are currently witnessing a revolution in Iranian football. Team Melli has never been stronger than it is today, and we will only get better.

Great list overall. Surprised to see Rafiei and Beitashour back in there along with no Haghighi..

I think Abedzadeh or Hosseini will get cut for the final GK spot
Interesting battle for the final LB and RB spots along the midfield..

I cant believe khanzadeh of a relegated padideh is still getting invites after those horrible performances vs tunisia and algeria

Padideh didn’t get relegated, they actually finished ahead of Sepahan this year. They actually had a really strong start to the season before they started slipping.... besides that, I’m not the biggest Khanzadeh fan either

sorry my mistake. But really what has this guy done to warrant getting callups so close to the WC. idk why CQ is introducing some of these guys after never considering them during qualfication

^ Are you seriously crossing off Abedzadeh who became the 1st GK of Marítimo, having solid performances in the league lately?

Kiarash jan, i don't see anything special in this guy. I mean look at his last 5 to 10 games highlights. Actually i don't mind to take him as 3rd keeper but to be honest all 3-4 keepers are more or less at the same level. Anyway CQ will start Bieranvand most likely, because the rest almost don't have any experience.
