I think Majid Hosseini is good enough. He outshines Cheshmi in Esteghlal's games at the back. His passing and calmness is great to watch.

First of all you placed your alliance with SS and cursed Persepolis, so technically you are SS fan and can not flip flop! Second, I just don't look at one match to judge a player. Ansari has been a good LB for Persepolis for past 2 years. It is our problem in CB position specially when Jalal is injured or suspended which forces Branko to shuffle Ansari in CB position which is not good for Ansari.

Shoja makes silly mistakes all the time... I can say more than half of goals that PP conceded was because of his faults

The thing is Ansari has been consistently like this. 2 defenders can't stop UAE quality attack have no place on the team. And Ansari did nothing when Romarinho just walked the ball pasted him. 3 goals easily at his fault.

He did. He played Asian Cup qualifiers in 2013.

I can not believe Moharrami is not included in this list. He is very solid and literally one of the few good ones still playing in Iran.

sorry my mistake. But really what has this guy done to warrant getting callups so close to the WC. idk why CQ is introducing some of these guys after never considering them during qualfication

im not sure but im worried for the future of our CBs unless Taha Shariati develops quickly. Outside of Jalal and PAG, I can't really depend on any CBs we have at the moment

the good news is PAG is young and has a good chance to head to europe this summer. So we just need one of shariati,majid hosseini, Cheshmi to develop into a quality CB to partner him. Shariati has a chance if he gets to europe asap, majid hosseini is also very young and calm on the ball-definitely has potential. Cheshmi had one good game next to PAG vs Togo, and then a bunch of mediocre-shitty games, so we have to see with him. I personally think he lacks the speed necessary.
