I don't know enough about Iran to make a prediction and I stil have to see how our players will respond to the pressure of a World Cup even though our team seem consistent and talented.

I think it will be very disputed and not many goals will be scored so I hope for a win 1-0 for us but no ill will towards Iran
Why doesn't Adidas have yalls kit on the website, especially if your going to host the world cup in the near future!

A very good team they got, I show my wife she is from Morocco and was suprised. We must not underestimate Morocco they can play very hard or very fast. As a Iranian we hope for Iran win and I think we are also strong. My collogue in my work from Morocco also begin talking and make me more stress.

I see the list of Morocco players and i am suprissed as well. Inshalah we will win

In my work the Moroccan tell me they hope Iran and Morocco will go to the last 16

I respect Morocco team because of my wife but I think we will WIN Iran 2:1 by Sardar Azmoun and Alireza Jahanbakhsh

It will not be easy for me during the game because my wife is for Morocco and I am for Iran

Based off this lineup, Morocco is a very old team. Most of those players are in their low 30s/late 20s where as most of Irans players will be low to mid 20s

It's a squad of bench players in European teams with the exception of Benatia, Ziyech and Belhanda. I think we match up well against them man for man and have a good chance but I am hoping we can get the defensive midfield issue resolved (goddamn ezatollahi) because their attacking midfield seems to be their strength.

Carcela is in the squad, he will create big problems against our left wing. He is extremely speedy, accurate and awesome technically ... What is worrying for Iran is really the lack of interesting friendlies against fast and powerful teams "testing" our defense.

He's not even going to start, and our fastest player by far is our left back so I think we will be ok lol.

Portugal's 23 man World Cup Squad: Nearly half Portugal's Euro squad to miss World Cup

LISBON (Reuters) - Nearly half of Portugal’s triumphant Euro 2016 squad will miss the World Cup after coach Fernando Santos made what he said were difficult choices in naming his final 23 for Russia on Thursday.

Centre forward Eder, who scored the winning goal in the Euro 2016 final against France, was among 10 players from that squad omitted from Santos’s list.

Other unlucky players included midfielders Andre Gomes and Renato Sanches, forward Nani and defender Eliseu.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Portugal’s all-time leading scorer and most-capped player, headed the list for the European champions, who face Spain, Morocco and Iran in a tricky first round group.

Other stalwarts included goalkeeper Rui Patricio, central defenders Pepe (35) and Bruno Alves (36), midfielders William Carvalho and Joao Moutinho and flamboyant forward Ricardo Quaresma.

“It was extremely difficult to choose the 23. As a professional, I have to make decisions and I know that I’m not going to please everyone,” Santos told a news conference.

“But, on the personal side, it hurts me to leave out players who took part in the European championship, and others who took part in the qualifiers and helped the team get this far.

“It was, of course, difficult to leave out Eder, Nani and others who wrote the most brilliant page in the history of Portuguese football. But I have to pick the ones who best complete the jigsaw.”

Russian-based midfielder Manuel Fernandes, who is 32 and has won 12 caps, was one of those to be included alongside Napoli left back Mario Rui.

“I can’t say whether this squad is stronger than the one which played at the Euros,” Santos said. “But I have absolute confidence in this squad just as I did in the other one.”

Goalkeepers: Anthony Lopes (Olympique Lyonnais), Beto (Goztepe), Rui Patricio (Sporting) Defenders: Bruno Alves (Rangers), Cedric Soares (Southampton), Jose Fonte (Dalian Yifang), Mario Rui (Napoli), Pepe (Besiktas), Raphael Guerreiro (Borussia Dortmund), Ricardo Pereira (Porto), Ruben Dias (Benfica) Midfielders: Adrien Silva (Leicester), Bruno Fernandes (Sporting), Joao Mario (West Ham United), Joao Moutinho (AS Monaco), Manuel Fernandes (Lokomotiv Moscow), William Carvalho (Sporting) Forwards: Andre Silva (Milan), Bernardo Silva (Manchester City), Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid), Gelson Martins (Sporting), Goncalo Guedes (Valencia), Ricardo Quaresma (Besiktas)

A good top form dejagah jahanbakhsh combo on the right side is one key to win this match. i see hakimi as their factor for our success. also from the left wing, we can use Taremi more inside the box next to azmoun or ansarifard, to finish our attacks from the right.

I hope dejagah will be in top-form and fight on ezatolahi position right position.
