One of CQs biggest weaknesses was always his stubbornness. I believe the reason why he chose Khanzadeh over Hosseini was because Khanzadeh joined the team much earlier. Remember how pissed CQ was because of the ACL? I think he wants to show a gesture of protest against IFF and the clubs and wants to show everyone that you can only be part of the team if you join me earlier.

I hope I'm wrong with that but if that's the case then it's very scary. I'm supporting CQ for a long time but this is worse than the exclusion of Khalatbari in 2014. If Khanzadeh starts in the WC I won't watch the match. You can call me plastic fan but my health is more important to me than TM. I don't need to watch Khanzadeh against the likes of Ronaldo or Morata.

Khanzadeh is the worst defender in the history of TM and I just can't tolerate and support CQ's decision in that.

Good luck CQ because you'll need it like you needed it in the first leg match against Uzbekistan in 2012 where your player selection was also trash.

I have Sepnet some one on one time with CQ and can tell you that he is one hard ass, he keeps a gruage and very arrogant (FOR GOOD REASON)
Once he makes a decision,even god can't change his mind. He really has avoided many players from our top 3 league players for players like ashkhan Dejagha or even omid ebrahimi, I can't understand the goal keeper option. Nor the defense or the mf. Best of luck to our boys whoever goes. But as I see it, we are not going with out best (fit)23 to the world cup

Also kindly keep in mind, Carlos wants the best for the national team more than anyone else, if me you and other guys here think about the NT 3 or 4 hours a day, CQ thinks of the NT 24 hours a day, I am sure any decision he makes is an educated well calculated decision

How much time did you spend in training with the named players? You reproach CQ for acting on sympathy, do not you do that when you see H. Hosseini in front of Abedzadeh? What did H. Hosseini do in the 45 minutes? A completely harmless shot bounced in the middle and almost cost us a goal? Regardless, Beiro will play anyway. If I can understand most of the decisions, CQ does not just act on a individual performances but on tactical flexibility and team chemistry. Seyyed Jalal is a great player, but he is clearly way above his zenith, he is still good in the 1 vs 1, but do not forget, we play against Morocco, they have strong physiques and they're incredibly fast, Jalal does not have the power 90 minutes to play in a World Cup anymore.
He has played a great qualification, but it is only enough for Asia. Kaveh is playing a huge season without a doubt, but he would only be in the bench as well as Reza anyway, and then we both have to gauge the value they have for the team. Kaveh Rezaei never convinced me in Team Melli.
I do not know a good game of him, except a goal against Sierra Leone. I'm confident about the selection and what's good for me is that CQ has a plan in mind that nobody did that first, it's hard to predict, and it leaves him an hard opponent. Nevertheless, the mentioned players are only on a standby list, they are not completely out, why are you all getting upset again?

Standby: Vouria Ghafouri, Jalal Hosseini, Kaveh Rezae (This is a highway robbery to have three of our best players on standby while people who does not deserve to be on squad getting the boarding pass) I seriously think CQ wants to sabotage our WC in favor of Portugal with this squad otherwise this team is so fcudek.

Our defense line is horrible, our RB without Ghafouri is done. Our CB without Jalal is Swiss cheese. Our DM is just lost with Ebrahimi and not having Saeed for first match, AMF we have only Saman and two injured player Ashkan with no play for past 6 months and injured Shojai. At least Soroush Rafie could help us there. Not including Kaveh for having Reza Gucci is just absolutely disgraceful. Do not expect anything more than 3 humiliating defeats with this line up.

One should take two things in mind:

1.That the team is picked with consideration to CQ´s planned tactics(which we know nothing about) against our opponents in the World cup.

2.Some surprises also made it to give them experience and WC exposure so that our next World cup wont be jeopardized by aged players and a generation shift.

Also I said it a year ago and got mocked for my comments that we should use and rely more on our attacking strength and skip one DM now that we have so many technically gifted attacking players (Taremi, Torabi, Gholizadeh etc).

We have moved from a very defensive approach to a more balanced one.
For some games one or both DM's can be dropped depending on the opposition and the strength of our team.
Like I said before looking at our recent games my past statement was right.

Historically CQ has shown he is truly a genius and his decisions are well calculated and ultimately beneficial

For example, when he got rid of hadi aghili and rahmati we thought we were toasted also we thought we didnt stand a chance against Argentina ( this was us Iranians, never mind the world) but the very same Argentina that we held hostage for 90 minutes went on all the way to the final game stopping germany for 120 minutes the very same germany that made a cartoon out of brazil with 7 goals in their own home


So even if CQ thinks khanzadeh or gholizadeh or any other zadeh that he picked are going to become the next pooladi we should trust him , one thing we as a nation did with this man was to never trust or support his decisions I think we should all send him love now and support the team regardless of player selection

his track record is a proof to us that he is able and capable of delivering results, its time for us to return his sweat work with trust, both him and the players thrive on fan support
