Why do some people believe that CQ should be not be subject to criticism? Stop with the god-complex.

Because there is only 25 days left to the world cup and this is not the time to criticize the team but to support the team, its time to boost the morals of your brothers in the NT that are giving their sweat day in day out for our joy and happiness

CQ knows what he is doing, criticizing him now is pointless because he is choosing players based on minute by minute plays at the world cup, me and you dont know why he is making the decisions he is making but he has justification for every one of them

As a fan, at this point we can only support the team in any way shape or form

Hi everybody. Although I am surprised by decisions in Jalal, Vouria and Kaveh, it makes sense. Q is looking for a diverse squad. Offensive rb rezaeian is backed by defensive khanzadeh. Defensive LB mohammadi is backed by offensive LB gholizadeh. Therefore it makes sense to include gucci. Rezaei is better, but same type like azmoun, taremi... although amiri is worse, but different type. And when it comes to experienced, solid but slow cb, we have Pejman, who is a bit younger and technically better than jalal. So the last spot goes to hosseini, who is a different type again. If you look at like that, it all makes sense. Gucci will only come in when 15 min left a poacher is needed, khanzadeh only to secure rb, gholizadeh only to put more pressure on the left side...

And watch our team without Jalal for past 4 years. Even watch PP without Jalal in CL or IPL. Exclusion of Jalal means a shot to the head for our defense line. He is not replaceable at this moment.

I try to avoid criticizing the coach's player selection because he does after all have much more info than we do.

But seriously I hope as some other members said that those left on stand by or whatever will still be added later. It honestly makes no sense dropping Kaveh, Hosseini and Ghafouri..

Ghafouri is our best option at RB, if he's not to start, then who!? Kaveh is a beast and has been killing it in Belgium, not to mention that he is exactly the type of player CQ likes, very smart, versatile, always running and hustling..

I am sure they will be back, and if they dont perhaps he knows something we don’t

If you saw the game yesterday, the bench players like azmun jahanbakhsh ezatollahi and bunch more were very relaxed and didnt care about the game, they were joking and smiling at one point in their warm up I saw azmun hitting the ball vollyball style to jahanbakhsh

Imagine such display was happening with cameras recording, and CQ has seen it off the pitch, therfore he is shock therapying the team

Not sure if you saw how angry he has been lately at his interviews and also at the end of the uzbek game,
I believe its all to get the players scared and alarmed

Reading this list might've just gave me aids... However, I have to say, val's posts were very refreshing.

I really do have hope that this is just a provisional list for the Turkey game/rest of the friendlies... After all, theres still almost 30 days till the World Cup left!

God help us if guys like Khanzadeh and Amiri make it to the world cup... And as much as Gucci is probably my favorite player on Team Melli, it's clear others deserve it over him.

Also Beitashour??? Not sure what the point of even inviting him was if he wasn't gonna get called up to the Turkey match??

We can live wih Kaveh exclusion, because of the depth upfront but i want him explain the absent of Jalal and Voria, i mean both players were the good soldiers during the qualification and big part of TM for many years. He probably will say Jalal lost some speed but he is taking Pejman Montazeri who is not the same player at all, was dealing with lots of injuries in last few years, i don't get this...

Khanzadeh is the biggest liability we have ever seen in TM I will pray every night before I go to sleep that he doesn’t touch the field. This guy isn’t even Azadegan level....how he made his way back into TM is beyond me.

If CQ sees something in Khanzadeh then I might going to cancel my studies and start at a local amateur club. Maybe I end up at Padideh and can go to the World Cup too! When Khanzadeh can be a CB in Russia, then why not me.

Historically CQ has shown he is truly a genius and his decisions are well calculated and ultimately beneficial

For example, when he got rid of hadi aghili and rahmati we thought we were toasted also we thought we didnt stand a chance against Argentina ( this was us Iranians, never mind the world) but the very same Argentina that we held hostage for 90 minutes went on all the way to the final game stopping germany for 120 minutes the very same germany that made a cartoon out of brazil with 7 goals in their own home


So even if CQ thinks khanzadeh or gholizadeh or any other zadeh that he picked are going to become the next pooladi we should trust him , one thing we as a nation did with this man was to never trust or support his decisions I think we should all send him love now and support the team regardless of player selection

his track record is a proof to us that he is able and capable of delivering results, its time for us to return his sweat work with trust, both him and the players thrive on fan support

I just fix this comment here to show how wrong this is without considering the current situation and overall picture of our NT. All those people who vote for this comment will see that.

Bro I have no problem with his selection, as I mentioned above we have fitter players we can relay on instead of taking injured ones.
I have to add that last World Cup, I feel we had a better defensive unit.

We didnt expect to have that kind of defense at the world cup but we became extremely proud even by the end of the nigeria game

Prior to world cup 2014 at judging based on our crap friendly games in austria and how hard we advanced to the world cup everyone was saying
3-0 to nigeria
6-0 to argentina
But it was nothing like what we thought
Our players were physically so fit that most of said they never had experienced such harsh physical practice in their lives

Again he will do the same and even better ai think as this is his second world cup with Iran and his 3rd world cup all together surely he has learned from his mistakes

In world cup yes. that's how you rmr mirzapour shitty footwork. You get punished fast in world cup. Rmr, we are talking about defense. once a defense makes a mistake, we are pretty much done unless you have a great goalkeeper. Bottomline, Get over it and just hope khanzade doesn't get playing time.
