Did you quote the wrong post? I wasn't complaining at his choice, an Aussie is quite within his right to play for his country as he has done. I was addressing people hoping that he might still represent us.

Ansarifard is Ansarifard, and not the legendary Lucio of Brazil...

And on the 8.Day God created Ali Karimi, and he saw he was good!
If Defenders were allowed to use their hands to stop Karimi

Think of it this way, if Arzani gets capped a couple times and never again, other expats will look at Iran as the smart choice. (Munir is facing this issue by choosing Spain over Morocco)

If Arzani performs and continues to get capped while securing a big move it will paint a good photo of Iranians abroad, even if they aren't representing Iran

Yes, but it doesn't do our national team any good either. Its almost be a sign for future players to say, "Hey if Arzani did it, so can you!". And just like that our talent pool will consist of Iranians who only have an initial Iranian mindset from the beginning rather than a diverse mindset like we have today.

Unfortunately that's the way things are today. Could you imagine Turkey if players like Özil and Gundogan declared for turkey instead of Germany? Or if the Khedira brothers opted for Tunisia or if Zidane went for Algeria. I'd like to look at it this way, if an ethnic Iranian does well it will open up the door for other ethnic Iranians, with some choosing to play for Iran and others not. There are numerous Germany raised ethnic Turks in the Bundesliga. Quality players like Toprak, Calhanoglu and Sahin opted for Turkey over Germany despite growing up and being born in Germany.

Ever since Ramin moved to Belgium he has proven to be in amazing shape. He looks like he’s 95% muscle and 5% fat. Maybe not even that.

The point is, Rezaeian is a smart RB and he knows how to read his opposition well when he goes against left wingers and left midfielders he has proven time after time that he has good vision and decision making.

I’m not saying a person’s physical body should be the only reason why Ramin is an automatic starter. But when you see his body this guy is pure muscle and he trains like a machine. This is the type of player who is capable of handling Ronaldo or Isco (for example).

But he tackles too much. when he tackles and dont clear the situation or wining the ball, the oponent is running away. imagine this vs. ronaldo, or others. i wish sacrifice yourself does not mean to tackle so much, because we need the players up not down. this is what you learn in germany youth football also.

Is it true that CQ has called Jalal and Kaveh up from the standby list?

Today is last day to submit final list of 23 players.
Iran has already done that but not published it.
