So no Emre Mor and Enes Ünal? Maybe they are injured.

Turkish fans are very unhappy with their coach anyway, so let's do them a favour and make his coach getting fired

no, they are out of form and havent played a lot this year. This is their best team though. Under, Calhonoglu, Yazici, Tosun, etc should prepare us well for attacking talents of portugal.

Only big missing name is Arda Turan.

I think they are transitioning away from arda, havent used him in a match for a long time. He plays in Basaksheir now and is definitely not the player he used to be. Their attacking mids now are very formidable, AC milan's star calhonoglu, Roma's Cengiz Under (breakthrough star of the season in italy), and the really talented yusuf yazici, who has earned plaudits of a lot of major players like ozil and gundogan who say he has incredible potential. Also Malli from wolfsburg can rotate there. But the first three typically start behind tosun as turkey are trying to find their new go to go guys and make a team that has the chemistry to get to WC, Euros. With their team, talent doesnt seem to be the issue, but rather a lot of friction within the squad and lack of cohesion, which they have been trying to address with new generation.

Khanzadeh was in TM in Argentina too but at that time he was a promising player much better than now. But somehow he did not continue his progress as was apparent in his last two games for TM. He was shakey, making dangerous mistakes and not reliable. But CQ believes that he can prepare him mentally and physically for Rusia. Not to forget that Khanzadeh has a tawering figure and if prepared mentally and physically could be valuable for TM.

This is a sexy thread. Kiarash makes these thread so exotic looking and desirable to open and read. I think he should be the only one allowed to make TM matches update creator. Or at least from now till the end of the world cup.

He puts so much passion and patience into making them, which is dearly appreciated by all of us!

Holy fuck, this is not going to be a friendly... someone could get hurt in this match... both teams won't want to lose to each other.

Also, why did this take 44 years?!?!

Thank you Keano e aziz! Honestly these threads would mean nothing without all your guys effort and appreciation. I hope to do as many Team Melli match threads at the World Cup! Meaning that we will progress to the Round of 16 at the very least
