If Karim's going to play center forward or behind Saman (as CF) in the center of the 3 behind him, I do like to see this combination. Shojaei, Ezi as DM's nice combination as well. Defensive line is obviously still getting fine tuned and let's see what Torabi does against a half decent opposition.

Overall, I would have liked to see a much more solid and less experimental side at this stage of our preparation but it's pretty obvious CQ is still playing catch-up and trying things IMHO that should have been tried in the 3 matches we played after qualification.

Hopefully, we'll be caught up after this match so if that ends up being the end result it will prove to be a decent PREPARATORY line-up - fingers crossed.

Agreed. He's still clearly using these games to assist with player selection and to test a few ideas. I feel like it's a little late for that, but this is Iran, after all.
