Many of you dont seem to understand that playing in turkey is one of the most hostile environments in all of europe. Its really hard even for the better teams to get a result here.

The atmosphere in russia wont be anything like this since most fans in attendance will be russians who could care less about moroco or iran.

Our players had nerves today because of it and it showed.

So??? When Iceland thrashed 3-0 at home for a WCQ against Turkey's A-team in a much more packed stadium with full attendance. Doesn't get more hostile than that.

The stadium was half empty half iranians, and that was a two star small stadium, you should see where Basiktas and Galatasary play, meanwhile ss and pp share a 40 years old azadi stadium and thats all we have, iran is 60 years behind even turkey

I hate to say it, but most of the fans in the stands were rooting for Iran. You can even argue it was our home game.

Baradare man, why to make fool of ourselves. The iranian fans were numerically
as much as the Turks and even louder! This was nearly a home game for us in
            istanbul!
And dont forget, that football nation like Island were able to defeat
            Turks on their turf 3-0.
Please dont let us look turkey like Spain, Germany or Brazil. We had just
a bad peformance and need to wake up and be honest with ourselves.

A simple answer to this :
First of all, this is a friendly my friend. As you shouldn't believe we could really beat Chile 2-0; you shouldn't overestimate the result of the match. If we were lucky we could even be the winner.
2- Team Melli did OK considering that CQ wasn't even playing the players in their own position. He was trying to do a stimulation for the last game against physical team of Portugal to see what plan B will look like if team falls behind and he brings all offence to try to comeback. Something we failed in 2014. This time around wasn't as bad considering that Turkey is way stronger than Bosnia and palyed at home.
3- As mentioned before ; you won't see nothing similar to this formation in the world Cup. You will see a totally different squad and formation every match.
4- Guys please refrain from emotional up and downs. Nowadays there are no superior or weak teams in the world Cup. Anyone can pull it out and qualify. Costa Rica was one we saw last world Cup. Don't be shocked if you'll be shocked. Relax guys. These are practices and results don't matter. As we didn't really beat Algeria. We just played them and we both practiced. Same goes with Turkey. Let our team to get used to play with the top teams without fear. Sit down and enjoy and leave the job to professionals to improve the team game by game. We didn't have much time for our team and now woke up. However honestly in such short time we are getting back on our feet to become the panther world expects us to be.
6- one good news Dejagah will be back stronger cheers
Thanks to Turkish team for providing this practice match with us. Right on. Thanks.

As you can see Iran played better opponents this time and still doesnt know his main squad for WC.

True enough all these games are just friendly games.
BUT we made many amateur errors in the defense
(specially the second goal from Tonsun) and
we couldnt pass the ball or hold it at least
                  for 2-3 min.
When we attacked we saw the ali asghari attacking style
putting crosses into the box from every position without any
clue. No fluid passing game and attacking creativity. But
still we will see if CQ have a plan or not in WC.

And one more question. First time I heard someone rates Morroco over Turkey ! Hmmmm
I thought about your post. Now if I go with the same logic and if they are same level of better than turkey. Considering that we only lost 2-1 on their home soil, then we can beat Morroco because it will be on a neutral field
Na Na I don't like these assumptions. I don't fool myself. I believe every game has its own kind of situation. That's why it's called beautiful unpredictable football specially if you have a sneaky coach like CQ. You will be surprised bro 👍

True. Hopefully those spills were covered. Never know maybe they let the goal in to chase it for stimulation because unlike other times CQ wasn't upset and had a smile. You never know bro but you're right.
What did you think of our position and Khera vasat for most of the game. Not that it counts in a friendly anyways.

Just because he plays different players doesn't mean he doesn't know what his main squad will be

Also let us give credit to Iran's medical staff with their work on Dejagah as he like he will be able to contribute significantly to Iran's WC

Lots of issues were highlighted in this friendly and learnings found. We were pressed in the 1st 20-25 mins and we were found wanting, our ball retention was not so good but then there was more movement off the ball and TM started to control the game. it seem to be confidence issue. But the good thing was that we adjusted to the game. We started to get close to the Turkish goal and made some chances. Individually I thought the Turkish team was very good.

In the 2nd half with the changes we started to totally control the game. If you notice we increased the pace of the game and Turkey was found flat footed. In the 2nd half we started to see a glimpse of the formation for the WC games and I am encouraged by it. The fact that TM had to use the flanks and put the ball in was because turkey came back in numbers and parked the bus. That was a good experience for the boys to make something happen when there are 10 players behind the ball.

I am not as pessimistic as many of you are and do not agree with your thinking that we played with no 'clue' or had no 'fluid passing', in fact in this game we purposely tried to keep the ball on the ground. that is why Shojaie was playing deep so he can start build play from there. There was a lot of passing and attempted passing.

I am glad that CQ did not go after the result and played some of the fringe players. Servers 2 purpose, allows the depth to be built and confused the opponents. We need all the help we can get, including unclear player position. But you can rest assured that CQ already knows who is playing where in the 1st game. As you notice Ezzatolahi did not play at all, his case is clear, Morocco wont even look at him so playing him was not an advantage to confuse them.

Yes, they're not as good as Spain but it's not up for debate that they were the favourites in this match. Of course, that probability takes into account all the different factors such as the home advantage and their superior individual talent.
In terms of Fifaranking we are placed 36 right before Turke (37). We are at WC
Turkey is not at WC. So its very strange how these mathematical calculations
                            predict a win for Turkey.

However, as i have said befor; since the Sierra Leone game
we have played very poor against Tunesia, Algeria (this game was ok)
and Uzbek U23. The reason ehy Turky defeat us is not so much their
quality but more our incapability to hold the ball for some mins
and creat scoring chances with short passes.

We all want the best for TM. Lets hope that CQ will take significant notes.
Hopefully the greece game is going to happen.

Turkey was definitely not taking us lightly, they basically played our usual game to beat us..<br>
They were not the better team imho. After all this was a friendly to test many new players, the fact remains our opponents are still guessing our final lineup which is a good thing,.. I believe cq will do the exact thing against Litknnn.
