Hi all,
I am lucky enough to be visiting Iran in two weeks, and I will be in Iran for all three team melli games. Of course I will watch those games in Iran, but I absolutely hate the IRIB coverage of the games, where they censor the fans and mute the stadium sounds, and basically remove any atmosphere from the coverage.
Compare that to the BBC or ITV coverage in the UK, where they have extensive pre and post game analysis, and actually start their broadcast some time before the game so that you can see interviews, pre-game warm ups, etc. This add so much to the whole experience, and I for one am really keen to see this, not only because it will be much more enjoyable, but it will also be interesting to see what the rest of the world thinks about our performances and players.
To cut a long story short, I - and probably many others - would really really appreciate if someone can somehow record the full BBC or ITV coverage of the games in the UK (or the FOX coverage in the US), and upload them somewhere for everyone to download. I did this some time ago using a digital TV receiver on my computer which had the capability to record games (I recorded the Match of the Day coverage of that game where Ando Teymourian absolutely smashed it with Bolton and scored 2 goals ). I'm not sure what technologies are available now, but I imagine it won't be too difficult.
Any heroes out there who can do this?
