personally, i just can not get myself to come to term with his possible departure..!
    Exactly.

Despite our various disagreements with some of his decisions, I feel there is a lack of appreciation for the paradigm shift he has initiated in iranian football.

If TM does not get disastrous results in the WC , IFF will keep CQ for 4 more years

      I guarantee it

His squad selection is also a huge indication that he intends to stay IMO, there’s many takeaways and many different angles to look at this but after letting this sink in for a week or so now, I think this shows he is staying
        Team Meli Iran
        Perspolis FC
        Malavan Bandar Anzali

And also let’s face it , CQ is right
I mean IFF should not just intent to sign him for 6 months , that’s not professional I mean CQ after 7 years deserves better than that for sure , specially after all he has done for us.
Either wait till after the WC and see how the TM does or if you wanta extend his contract now, then offer him another 4 years .
That’s more the ethical way to do it.
We at least owe him that much.

he KNOWs we have a great chance to win the Asian Cup ... for HIM to finally WIN something ... you REALLY think he is going to leave ?
              Nope.
              He is doing this to
              (1) get the BEST out of his players in Russia
              (2) cause more public opinion against the federation than even before
              (3) the better the result in Russia , the more pressure on IFF to not only sign him to an extension but with even MORE $$

He is a master at head games. And he is doing what he does best

Carlos Queiroz was an obscure has been BEFORE TM, today he is the Hottest, most en vougue and most sought after coach BECAUSE of TM!! His Fortunes and fame is ALL connected to TM, so why should he leave??? Where can he go to emulate this 'Rise from the ashes' footballing story that he created with TM!!? He knows this,
he wants to finish what he started and this finish entails holding up the AC trophy in 2019!!!

                    LOL a "has-been"?

A Man U assistant who who Alex Ferguson said was "brilliant" and "was for all intents and purposes as close to being the the coach of Manchester United" as you can get was a "has been"? Is "obscure"?

A Man U assistant who only left to take the Real Madrid coaching job was a "has been"?

A man who, a few months before taking the Iran job, coached Portugal and Cristiano Ronaldo at the World Cup, where they (barely) lost to the eventual champion, Spain, is a "has been"?

While Alex Ferguson was feuding with BBC, CQ was the media face of ManU - he gave all the interviews, all the post-match conferences, etc. He is a very well known figure in world football.

What exactly is a "has-been" to you? That's OBSCURE to you? Tell me, what's obscure about Portugal, Man U, and Real? You know who OBSCURE is? Branko, a croatian assistant coach who snuck into the team melli head coach role. Or Afshin Ghotbi, a video coordinator for South Korea who snuck into the TM seat.

The stupidity, outright lies, distortion and jealousy of CQ bashers....you deserve Ghalenoi.

Don't forget the builder of Portugal's golden generation and a World Youth Championship winner.

You overlook the gist of my post and focus on individual words. What I’m saying is that CQ was off everyone’s radar PRIOR TO TM if he wasn’t IFF would have neve secured him!! CQ regained his shine ONLY with TM as he was fired multiple time prior to that. He was let go or was in disputes with a few federations Both at club and national level. I hope I made myself clear this time.

                        PS. I’m CQs biggest supporter
