Looks like CQ is free of Egypt.

Sko if you read this, call this man and invite him to the camps before we play our first game.

looks like egyptians are already longing for CQ again. The face he took this weak side to AFCON final, only lost on PKs, and to WCQ final, again only losing on PKs to the best team in africa (by far), with the amt of injuries they had and the fact he hardly had any time for friendlies, longer camps, etc is pretty damn impressive.

The Egyptian fans never doubted CQ. He was screwed by the Egyptian FA, just like he was screwed by IFF. The man is a legend among the fans anywhere he coaches.

Yes he is! Just comparing the result of this poll with the one about Skocic says it all.
Yet we have members here defending Skocic...

Two finals (african cup and WCQ playoff final) lost on a very fine margin against a team which is so much stronger than them - with transfermarkt value multiple times higher and more importantly playing well as a team.

I think their namak-shenAs fans were well aware of what they had. Building something is valuable.

“[Carlos] Queiroz made something out of nothing,” he continued. “He made this team reach heights that seemed impossible with this group of players.”

So what's Carlos Queiroz up to now? Any rumours?

My understanding is he is looking for a job in Africa. Wants to be close to him as he will probably retire after the next job.

At least it took them a short time to realize their mistake:

"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh

EFA following in IFF's footsteps. Next up they are going to hire Wilmots.

Interesting. Complete opposite of Iran where IFF wanted him, but sports ministry refused.

Baba CQ is sitting by the phone stroking his gigantic doodool knowing the call is going to come from us before November once we manage to work out the exact logistics of how exactly we move such a dense and heavy mass of worthless incompetence without causing mass damage to the workforce and environment. It's much like attempting to send a beached whale back into the sea except in this case we don't care about the welfare of the whale all that much so hopefully it should be easier.

He was going to spend much of his free time analysing the current state of TM to make the transition in November smoother but he's pleased and somewhat surprised that after 2 years, 17 games and however many 'camps', the only changes the terrorist has managed to make are introducing Nouro and Noora and thankfully both are easily reversible so he can hopefully try and make the players recall what is involved in playing in a functional team.
