but he used have a supreme Ando-like stamina , ran back n forth repeatedly @ 100mph and was a tenacious and combative defensive marker..!!
I think it all went tits up for him in TM when he lost peak fitness and form ... poor sod never had the silky smooth dribbling skills, unpredictability and class touch on the ball, to save him when his lungs and legs seemingly gave out on him too..!

another 06 sorta wc debacle is looming large.... !!
shame as we got plenty of good footballing talent across the whole pitch, just sorely missing a savvy coach to give them Tactical Shape, Discipline and Organization ..!!
Give me Carlos Peeeleeeze ... Or ... Give me Death..!!

but if as rumored the head of Sport Ministry has ambitions to bring back CQ..?? then for sure KingCQ's return become a very probable possibility..!?
afterall CQ's Return is just about the only sensible hail-mary, last ditch effort left in order to prevent a massive embarrassment for IR-Iran/ Raisie at the WC vs their biggest nemesis "Sheytaane Bozorg o koochak...!!

Reality of the situation - this is what our players think of Carlos Queiroz.
"This is a totalitarian system whose presence people feel in their blood and in their flesh on a daily basis. And it’s one that does not grant freedoms of any kind, or accommodate people’s demands in any way. What is increasingly clear is that there is clear demand for change in the regime. What the people want is regime change, and no return to the past. There is a very real possibility of regime change." - Nasrin Sotoudeh
