Bento has been hit and miss. You can argue that with that squad they've been underperforming. Although the timing is horrible as their situation is nowhere as dire as ours.

not defending him, just trying to understand what you are implying here but how was he toxic? By networking and being in touch with other professionals involved in Football? isn't that being professional and keeping up with his own industry?
From my understanding during his reign, most players loved him and listened to him, he brought in new players and even helped them move to Europe. Yes his relationship was bad with IFF but we needed someone who was standing up to them. Did he get rich on it? of course! it's not a charity.

Going into fantasy now, but do you think a guy like Zidane would work well in Iran (assume we somehow have the money).
He definitely has a lot of charisma, and players respect him, but from what I've heard he doesn't really care about tactics and is mostly into man management/motivation.

no bc our players need coaching. They need very specific instructions and limited scope of responsibilties. Zidane coaching style is great when players have elevated technical abilities and tactical IQ. That cant be said for most of our players. WE need somebody who will make the game simple for our players and gives them a list of 4-5 tasks to individually focus on.
