It is unscientific to refuse stats and results. And already mentioned to you that the opponents during Brank were higher rankings. This has been discussed here at nauseum not only are Branko's stats better, opponents higher ranked but he also won Bronze in Asian Cup, Won Waff, Won Asia/Oceana intercontinental, won Asian games gold in Korea (our last continental trophy), Our highest ranking. It is psychopathic to claim CQ is a better coach at least as far as TM is concerned. So it is not only about percentages. He is better in every category. Even if we compare CQ first world cup with Branko's first world cup Iran finished higher in 2006. It is psychopathic to have to keep repeating the same stuff and the guy comes back with the same statements. Believe me I am sickened that I keep having to repeat stats that are quite easy to understand and factual not biased. Those coaches who have won Asian cups have won CUPS! As I've mentioned to you in my earlier post that using FIFA opponent rankings is not scientifically an accurate method to calculate win % specially when it's a decade apart. Team rankings fluctuate seasonally depending on their tournament participation (for example, the stronger Syria team that made the WC qualification playoff in 2018 had an average ranking of 112, but illogically the Syria that ended at the bottom of the table in 2022 was ranked higher at average 75). Apparantly saudis wanted to sack renard but realised that its a STUPID idea, because there were too many examples of teams that failed miserably when done this. So they renewed his contract and will keep him for WC.
