I’m not sure if I saw the same game as some of you guys, because you are all putting Hajsafi in the starting 11.

I’m not even sure what his strengths were, defended badly, had very bad passes, took way too many long shots, and managed to screw up a one-on-one.

Imagine having only 1 clear cut chance in the whole game against Morocco, and Hajsafi shoots to the keepers hands, one metre away from the goals.

Our match against Lithuania will also be behind closed doors and not televised. That game will have TM's actual lineup.

Absolutely, that's why its right to be critical of some of CQ's choices for final 23, but ultimately it is stupid to lose your shit over either the turkey result or performance because he is trying out different options and experimenting.

In the same way I was upset about the 7-1 loss the AS Roma B in 1998 but realised later that Ivic was trying out a number of different things, and eventually the lessons learned payed dividends in the final tournament.

If Jalal Hosseini do not make the squad, use Montazeri instead of Cheshmi/Khanzadeh.

If Ghafouri makes the squad, use the more stable and better/stronger defending player in right back. In my eyes Ghafouri is physical better in defending, also his offensive moves are good and same as Rezaeian, but with having Dejagah (100%) and specially Jahanbakhsh on the right, Ghafouri should use his duty and power just to defend (main aim).

Another option can also be Ghafouri instead of Dejagah from the begining or in second halftime. Something like this:

With Ghafouri on the inside-right, he can also work on the right together with Jahanbakhsh and Rezaeian. I would like to see CQ try this at least in the camp, but seems he did not have this in mind. While typing this, i like the idea of Mohammadi, Hajisafi, Ghoddos and Taremi beeing on the left side in attacking, and placing Taremi next to Azmoun or Ansarifard and from the right side Dejagah, Rezaein and Jahanbakhsh or Ghafouri Jahanbakhsh Rezaeian....

another good more defensive solution could be this against Spain and Portugal: 4-3-2-1.

I would definitely use the most offensive line-up possible against Morocco since this is a must win for us and there's no point playing for a tie.

In essence, we have nothing to lose and everything to gain from this match, also keeping in mind that we need to shut down the wings against Morocco:

The only one people can argue about is Mazaheri here.

Brackets below Ezzatolahi are the only players who should play CDM against Morocco, I wouldn't mind Pouraliganji there either.

The rest of the outfielders are must starters as far as I'm concerned. You can argue Dejagah's fitness, but I couldn't care less, he has to play.
