If you like playing with friends offline then FIFA all the way.
Online I would say the infrastructure is much better of course in FIFA, but for some reason when you lose in PES you know it's because you've been outplayed. When you lose in FIFA then dumb luck and spamming can often have a role.
I found the gap in gameplay last season really widened - PES was, for the first time in a few years, a lot better to play than FIFA.
At the same time, the gap in interface/menus also widened - PES has so little respect for the fans in their design of menus that it is disgusting.
Still, the annoying thing is that for me, gameplay and fun is more important than menus, licenses, commentary, interface, infrastructure. So I have to go with the painfully shitty user experience of PES again....

Ultimate team has always confused me, I always stick to career mode.
Can’t wait to finish off the Alex Hunter mode as you can only play the first chapter in the trial.
