I saw Esteghlal vs Peykan match. Second goal was wrong because Esteghlali defenders committed a foul inside their own penalty area and kicked the ball while Peykan players were waiting for referee's call. The same long pass ended up to be goal. The referee didn't whistle which was strange.

A side note : we really struggle to develop good midfielder, that becomes succesful in Europe. Noorafkan went to Belgium and didn't play, Ali Karimi went to Croatia and came back straight after one year. Hajisafi went to Germany, and directly came back to Iran, the same with Greece. Even Ezzi has deceiving seasons.

Wow Esteghlal is on fire at the moment. If PP or Sepahan can slip, I'll consider Esteghlal one of the strong favorites. The 3 African signings for them has completely changed the team
