It’s the thought that counts. Yes it’s unlikely he can avoid all US companies, but he is making a conscious decision to try to in at least the obvious products he can. Why does it make you angry? It’s a perfectly reasonable stance

I don't want to get into a debate about capitalism/socialism.
Since the WW2 the entire world is far better off with U.S. capitalism controlling most of the world. Life expectancy is up around the world and life is far better for most.
You realize that by boycotting American products; medicine, technology, etc. your life will be harder. There are sometimes drawbacks of capitalism, but long-term it is best for the entire world.

That is the problem. We yell Marg bar America, but as soon as they make a product that makes our life easier we use it without a second thought. It's called hypocrisy. They use the chants to keep the dumb people pissed off at America while our country stagnates with 20 percent inflation so they can stay in power.
I am not saying America is perfect. I am stating the American government system is much better than ours.

So if I don't think my job is perfect, it doesn't mean I should quit tomorrow? I would try to improve the aspects that I dislike about my job...

I don’t believe that you are so naive to think its about boycotting the damn nike company

Its about national pride, honor and standing up for your dignity through an act

Its about making news and telling the world, hey its not you that is boycotting us its us as a nation that is boycotting you and anyone like you in the future


My dear friend, dignity, honor, and pride is not something they teach at english school, values like that is grown within one at home through proper parenting

I am sure you have no shortcoming of such values, and you are a proud Iranian with dignity and honor of your nation constantly on your mind, but in the future pay closer attention to deeper meanings behind such social political acts
