Creating a siege mentality within TM for higher performance

Hopefully I don’t get bashed for opening this thread but I think it is important and what will get Iran across the line.

Anyway the point is that going by CQs last attributed Facebook message it looks like CQ is now creating a siege mentality within the team. Namely, the world and the establishment within Iran is against us and we need to rise above and show them our true worth. Remember last WC qualifiers against S Korea in Korea. CQ expertly created that atmosphere within TM to come on top. If this Nike ban is also true it will add to the mentality.

This will get the whole team and players a new urge to band together and raise the level of performance by many folds, as if to show we have something to prove.

This is why I think CQ is more than just a football coach...he works on skills, tactics and the mind. He also knows what works for our players. I am really hopeful of a good performance at the WC. 😊

Couldn't agree more. All of this friendly cancellations, sanctions, adidas treatment, and now the Nike insult should only serve to motivate our players. Where we lack in talent and organization we can compensate with pride.

One team one nation one goal or whatever the slogan is.

Well he is famous for his psychological techniques!
He is initiating some fire and motivation to achieve higher in the squad, something worth to fight for!
When you are there to prove a point, you are not afraid or scard of anyone! So what he is doing is the same thing with the team, “Dont be afraid of Spain or Portugal, they didnt have sanctions, they didnt have difficulties, they were not surrounded by teams from a pathetic AFC (Arab Football Federation) yet YOU were and YOU are now here! Show them what you are made of”!

This is what he is doing, he is a psychologist on top of his coaching brilliance!

agreed. I think this is exactly what hes doing. Lets see the results. If we got out of this WC, I am okay with that, but I want three games that will fill me with pride when I am back home talking to friends about world cup, or they are texting me during tournament. 3 whole games. Not just one like last WC.

No it's all part of the mind game, same with the Greece friendly being canceled. The US sanctions, the world being against us, the rise of the IR.. it's all been part of this master plan.

true, I thought the news was legit and started a thread asking our members for the boycott of Nike products, but after I saw that the news was spread by amad news, therefore I immediately deleted my thread as I believe this an Israeli/Saudi made news, they are trying to create tensions for the team and the fans as you rightfully mentioned "its a mind game"

Don't need to create a siege mentality. The siege is real enough when you know Nike won't provide shoes for your team.
