I was thinking the whole purpose of the extra spot was to give Ashkan a chance to prove his fitness. Hard to tell much from his Turkey cameo but if that was the reasoning, it will be one of Ashkan, Masoud, Torabi, Ghoddos or Amiri. Don't think Gholizadeh will as he is our backup LB. Personally, I'd choose Khandzadeh, it leaves us a little short in defence but meh.

Torabi seems most likely, maybe Gholizadeh but I'm sure he likes that Gholi gives a defensive option.

If it's going to be a surprise one, I think either Gucci if he feels the other options are simply better and he can't score any more, or Ghoddos if he just doesn't like how unfamiliar he is with him.

Amiri is going to play every game at the World Cup. He only missed one Guam match in the qualifiers and he's even played 8 of the 9 friendlies since qualifying, even playing as a striker.

Probably going to be Torabi not because he is bad player, but the one he dislikes the most and has bad blood with out of the rest.

One can never predict CQ, but I wouldn't bet my money on crossing off Ashkan or Masoud.
