Now that Kaveh is gone, Golizadeh is the best player on this team and it’s not even close.

2-0.....time for bayat to go to the drawing board and decide which iranian striker to bring in next. if mazzu likes big physical strikers who can press well then he should look into ali ghorbani of esteghlal. schafer will have a hear attack though if another one of his players leavesTeam Meli Iran

IF bayat doesnt want his team to turn to shit he needs to invest half of the kaveh money to bring in taremi. If he cant do that, then look to another market. Tbh, not that many iranians Id want to see in charlroi atm from PGPL.

Our national team has reached a level where there are just few PGPL that I would even consider good enough to really be anything more than average in europe. Pretty much just Beira, Torabi, and cheshmi. Besides them only the younger generation of players is left that could really do bits in europe. The likes of allahyar, delfi (who is on his way to PSV), Sharifi, Ghobeishavi, and some of their other u17 team mates like Shariati, Qaderi. One could also make a case for niazmand, but really besides these players, none have the quality to really be stars for european teams (Euro clubs will not sign iranians who will just be average in their teams, theyd rather use local players for that).

Taremi is unrealistic for so many reasons I don’t even know where to begin.

They play pretty different imo
If there are two decent PGPL replacements for Kaveh, it'd be Morteza Tabrizi and Sasan Ansari, but they are both a year older than Kaveh and wouldn't really help flip profit for Mazzu.
I think Saeid Karimi is a good young player that Mazzu can target.. He'd probably sit on the bench and learn for 6-7 months then would play, sorta similar to Noorafkan will at Charleroi.
