bro, watch argentina game again.

Result is absolutely fine. Even a 0-0 or 0-1 loss would be fine. No national team takes the warm up/behind closed doors match seriously in terms of result.
The last game is is a friendly warm-up to keep the players concentrating, stay in sync and pumped for the first match of the tournament.
My worry is with the final line-up as a I am more nervous with Cheshmi and Masoud starting than with any other previous TM before a world cup. I just can't see how either 1) Contribute to the compact defensive unit compared to other players 2) Can facilitate the swift counterattacking we will need against Spain and Portugal, again compared to other players.
CQ hasn't done me wrong before so I can only have faith in what he is planning, but I really hope my fears are unfounded....

There has been a couple of different lineups posted.

I guess we can go with the one you posted. We are so screwed with Cheshmi starting vs. Morocco. CQ's stubbornness regarding players like him, Amiri and Khanzadeh may warrant a reevaluation of whether he is the right coach for us.

And I am a huge CQ fan and try to remain positive.

I honestly don't think cheshmi will start as a Defender next to PAG. According to the stats montazeri and PAG have worked way better than Cheshmi and PAG. I think cheshmi will start as defensive MD infront of montazeri. We have to wait and see.

I had to calm down people in the stadium who were screaming at him. Whereas all the other 9 outfield players were running their heart out, he was strolling for the entire game. It was a bit surreal to see. His lack of movement and anticipation off-the-ball kills Iran's game.

Do you remember how many fans in the stadium were throwing foshe khahar madar for all three games - his off-the-ball laxity is more obvious in a stadium when you can see the whole team move together, it looks like a limb which is just dragging on the floor wen everything else moves in sync. I was disgusted with some of the things that people were saying though, especially because he is one of the nicest guys in TM and a credit to the country.

I have watched him live many many times from when he first came on the scene internationally just before the 2006 world cup. He is certainly talented and two-footed and at his best was very graceful as a player. But what he takes away from Iran as a team now is infinitely more than what he produces, though its true that we don't have the playmakers we once used to have (but we don't need them any more as we have a more structured gameplan which relies less on that kind of player).
