If we had played like Saudis right now vs. Germany, we would say that we are Sarvareh Asia and will beat the Moroccans with ease. Unfortunately, against much weaker competition, we played horrible.

I don't expect our form to get better for World Cup. Friendlies are used to experiment but I honestly think we have no real wild cards that can make us unpredictable or give us chance of success.

It will be a double whammy if Saudi Arabia has a great World Cup tournament and Iran riiddd. That will be unbearable, but looks like it can happen.

I agree with you! At the beginning of our preparation, right after the WCQ,
TM played some promising games. We played attacking football against
Panama, Venezuela and had nice 75 min against Russia. Before we had
ok games against Togo and Montenegro.

But since the Tunesia Game we played much weaker in our defence and
in our attack. Our win against Algeria sounds great but one have to look at
Algeria recent results and one will realise that they are super weak at the moment
loosing all their games (3-0 against Porutgal). We even had some trouble
to defend our 2-1 lead against them.
Our games against uzbeks and turks show how weak we become and destable
in the defense. And today the late narrow win against Lithuania In our attack we lack some fluide creative passing game.
Just look at KSA how they play open game against germany on their turf and the
score is 2-1! And they had 100% chance to equalize!
We never peform like that against a big team! Even our Argentina game was not
as even as this KSA Germany game. Actually we had big luck in our agentina game
in the first half. Even our counterattacks in the second half were typical crosses and
2-3 string passes but not speedy combinations like the algerians did against
germany or saudies did today to Germany!

As you have said it before, when iran would peform like that everyone would thing
that we win the world cup. We should be ready that our asses get kicked badly
against Spain and Portugal.

Let's not undermine how the Saudis have played. Germany is playing, they are missing chances but Saudis are breaking down Germany's defense. And yes, I recognize it's a friendly, just the way they are playing is good. Respect.

I would say that is the hardest group to predict out of them all. 1 year ago i would have agreed with you on this, but not today. Russia will surprise us all even though they are in a shit state right now.

KSA are dangerous, you cant deny it they almost won their qualifying group.

Uruguay will win the group no doubt unless Suarez takes a bite on Salah
