He had a boogh he had taken out of a car and blow in it dodororododo and people shouted Iran. This chant is so old that is no longer effective. You need chants that rock the stadium. the high pitch tones don't shake and rock the stadium. they sound weak and pathetic.
pus the world cup is like a festival, almost a family event. It's hard for most countries to get Tifoosi chanting going

Iranian fans and their chants are embarrassing and disorganized. This world cup is really showing us how much behind other countries' fans we are.
They take other people's chants (Iceland) and butcher it, and our own chants are annoying and outdated. For a football crazy nation like Iran, we really need to do better.
We need a drummer to play this beat and the crowd to clap and sing the lyrics. Almost every Irani knows this song and it's easy to sing along to:

I'll tell ya what chants u will be hearing during the next two games ---> BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOGH, that's it.
Please someone take these horns away from the iranian fans. It is ruining the atmosphere and annoying other fans as well. Since when do Iranians use that many horns? We are not f*ckin Bafana Bafana. This needs to stop!

For a nation that had Ferdowsi, Hafez, Saadi, Khayyam, Molana etc... Dooo Doo Iran is a bit underwhelming.
I guess it's partly because the people at the WC hardly go to stadiums otherwise.
Even though we think we're a football crazy nation, in theory we sacrifice way less to support our teams, watch matches in stadiums or actually play football. And this also is the case with Iranian outside Iran, so not really a regime thing.

you guys are missing a very important point, most of the national team fans are regular Iranians who don't follow any game unless it's world cup or Iran playing, good luck changing anything unless there is a serious campaign behind it with handouts, actual guys in charge leading the singing etc
As for the Icelandic chant actually even that one could work;
"Ya-hoo" could work in some sort of praise or prayer for the players and the team. (not my cup of tea, but still)

Morocco was my first TM game and as an English football fan and Liverpool supporter, I expected so much more from our fanbase. +1 for calls to ditch those disgraceful horns and vuvuzuelas, every Moroccan and neutral that watched the game said the same, they're annoying and completely destroy any atmosphere that any proper chanting could have created.
There's nothing wrong with simple chants, Doo Doo Doo etc is fine, we just need to add to it. The chant and response ones we seem to excel at as it seems to click with Iranians so maybe focus our creative minds on something along those lines.
You build the songs and they will catch on if they're good, I'm a Liverpool supporter and we took a 1985 Italian pop song that was originally turned into a football chant by a lower league Italian side, copied by multiple teams including Porto before we copied them and it became the most popular European football chant of the year sung worldwide by fans.
