Certainly no one without a UEFA Pro license, I don't care if they're German, Iranian or from Mars!

Slaven Bilic (Croatia & West Ham) is unsigned at the moment and did wonders for both of those teams, especially in the short term which is what we'll need if CQ leaves with the Asian Cup 6 months away.

He's younger which is what I believe TM genuinely needs if/when CQ leaves and he's a bit of a social activist and you pretty much have to be to be able to coach in Iran!

If we have a wish list, I do like to see Hashemian take charge of the U-21 or U-23 team at some point too.

Either Vahid Halilhodžić or Vahid Hashemian

The next Iran coach has to be someone as good as CQ for sure.
For who ever that coaches in the Iranian league at the moment, will deserve to become the next coach only if he wins the AFC trophy with his respected club. Otherwise, we have to look elsewhere.
But of course, this is after CQ guides us in the knock out stage of this world cup.

We ruin the minds of the potentially capable people by giving them the job or putting their names on the lists.
We cannot ruin Neku by giving him a big job too early. even Hashemian should not take a job like that to become another Daei. They need to have license and must have worked 3-4 years as assistant to a great coach. If they become TM coach too early it is hard to make them humble to become assistant to a guy like CQ .
They build too much pride quickly and argue that I have been a coach, I am not going to be an Assistant. This is why CQ has no real assistant for 7 years. The Iranian volleyball player who was the assistant coach of TM and moved to japan after marrying a japanese kid and recently defeated our TM volleyball team.
They need a good supervisor to learn. We ruined Daei's chances. Neku should have stayed with CQ and someone else needs to work with Schafer to learn. If they don't then they are not any better than I am.

Bronko lost Rezaiyan, Taremi and Mosalman for being kalleh shagh. he is great but his stubborn attitude makes a few players leave. He did not want jalal i remember and he did not want #24. Then he was convinced. someone like Ghotbi should not even be on the list. don't forget his match against korea. even my grandfather was angry for not subbing out a bad player and playing in a way to lose to koreans. Fortunately Schaffer taught some of you not to count on people whose job he took the other guy who was running naft as coaches.

With Mihani coaches we can never reach our 100% ability and capability. 1 simple reason is roodarvasi, tars, partibaazi and lajbaazi in team member selection......

exactly based on what did you choose these names? what was the criteria? that they, once in their lives, touched the football (doubtful on Qotbi on this one)?
                parvin? pious? toschak? Kia? Bagheri?

Just shut up and vote, you sodding dullard

Those names are there to throw you off the main pick. What they call a googly in cricket

Are you having an argument with yourself?
I went to Sharif University. I'm a superior genetic mutation, an improvement on the existing mediocre stock.

Allright/, all right. Don't give yourself a bleeding hernia.

Ok I pick my ultimate favorite, Mr. Bran..... like I need a bloody turd sandwich!!

Seriously though, given what CQ had done in the past 7 years, I think we should get someone who is not entirely contrasting style, but rather complemenary.
For that, I can only pick a nation , not an individual.
I'd say an Italian coach, to build a strong TEAM performance over CQ's foundation of strong defense.

Best option is Schaffer until after Asian cup. Later we can get a better. Schaffer seems to know our football is quick and smart. He is also rather cheep.

It needs to be someone with knowledge of the game outside of Iran, particularly Europe, and who actually is good at his job. Even Brazilian coaches do awfully when they haven't learn in Europe.

Judging by the Cameroon job applicants, Queiroz is the standout candidate by a large margin (and he seems to have hinted he's been offered the job). Bierhoff? Domenech? You'd be better off with no one.

I would look for promising European managers who are students of the world game. They might not get a big club job yet, but would jump at a relatively big international one and can adapt well. Someone in the mould of Andres Villas Boas (or even AVB himself would be incredible).

I have also always suspected Martin wants the job.

I'm hoping CQ stays at least for Asia Cup.
But if he does leave, you need a coach on the same profile level with balls to stand up to IFF like CQ. Otherwise we'll undo all that CQ has down over the past 7 years.

The only and the biggest issue I see with the options of the poll, is that there are way too many Iranian coaches. IMHO and at this point in our football no Iranian coaches should remotely be considered for the job.Otherwise it'd be a huge step back. Dear IFF Please Do Not Disappoint Us!
