They're playing in their own country, they're not that bad? I mean they won't win the WC, but they are absolutly not a weak team, I could imagine that they make it somehow to the 1/4 Finals with support of their fans, why not?

they might not be as great as they used to be with the arashavin era but they still got some solid results against the best before the world cup as well as in the confederation cup
