This wasn’t even a performance let alone a weak one..

Did any of you see closeups of their fans in the crowd? They didn’t seem to give two shits about the result. What kind of fans are just happy to be at a tournament and not the success of their team? Fans of weaker teams like Tahiti or Haiti. Saudi Arabia is supposed to be a football nation with a lot of accomplishments but they acted as if this was a friendly match for them. Absolutely pathetic in my book, and I’m not even laughing I’m disappointed.

We all talk smack but this is a bad representation of our continent. This World Cup is supposed to help give Asia more spots in the future world cups and the first Asian team totally messed up.

Saudi Arabia was piss poor and honestly they’ve been horrible since 2009 since that loss in their house vs Bahrain. So 9 years they’ve been crap and they invest millions into their clubs for the ACL.

I actually want for Saudi Arabia to get out of their group in the Asian Cup so we can face them but I’m afraid they just don’t give a damn lol.


Also, I’m not disappointed in them for their performance I’m disappointed that a team like Iraq or even Syria missed out on the World Cup.

Or WC slots divided by # of continental teams in FIFA top 32 ranking. If Asia has 1 team in top 32 should get 1 slot...0 = zero slots etc.

Both good suggestions.
An Adesorian suggestion would be a combination of both and an investigation into corruption in AFC and life ban for the most corrupter. problem solved!
