Not really. If they play counter attacking and wait for their chances they might be able to win. There is a reason why weaker teams play counter attacking and stronger teams play attacking.

This tactic of playing like your Barcelona isn't going to win them shit. Their players aren't good enough to score goals easily.

the point is that it's too late for a team to switch to a strategy that they have no experience with. We've never seen KSA play a diciplined and defensive game.

The time to change strategy is not in a middle of a WC game against Uruguay. Whether it's the coach's fault or the players, makes no difference.

I wasn't inferring for them to make a change now. They should have prepared for this before the worldcup. Saudis are playing the same tactic like they are playing against shitty AFC teams.
