Haj safi never opens his mouth. so better to not have him as captain. He may not speak english...

Hajsafi should not take free kicks. Not sure why he did repeat it. Dej also should avoid those long balls and free kicks. Pulling a hamstring again is possible...
Dej didn’t train with the team in last session yesterday, so doubtful if he plays.

.... unless of course CQ mind game

I think it was rather your cat mind gaming you!
She is now laughing behind your back

          Back to topic:
I remember there were times people here were writing Shojaee off, too old, too this and that, and now he is our TM captain! I like that!

Also, I sincerely want CHESHMI to score a free kick header today, and see our members reaction! I really want to see that happening!

yep! its his 3rd World Cup now (2006, 2014, and now). He is now a TM asset, and the most experienced player, so well deserved!

If Iran loses this game (god forbid), it's most likely due to CQs mind games to throw off Spain and Portugal and steal 6 pts from them.. lol

You have done that so many time in the past.

Masoud is a great guy and a likable person and all that, but he truly and completely sucks as a TM player. He was by far the absolute worst player on the field today. Killed the momentum on two counters and gave away possession multiple times under zero pressure. Saddest part is, he will most probably start again next game!

-Don't do silly dribbles like you did against Argentina

You guys joke about CQ's mind games, but here is a quote from his post match Interview with Four Four Two Magazine

"Our strategy was exactly since the first minute to create a mental collapse in the Moroccan players. And now we tried to do that creating frustration and block all the playmakers"
That mental collapse he mentions is exactly a result of mind games!

He must be an asset for the team if he has been invited to 3 world cups.It definitely can't be party bazi...

IMO arguably the most overrated player in TM for the past ten years. Even in his prime he couldn't maintain a succesful few months in Osasuna without something going wrong. he's great technically and a great personality but he rarely shows up on the pitch when it matters and if he does it's usually luck like that one goal he cored on South Korea in Seoul in the failed 2010 Qualification campaign.
