Not sure if a draw is good or bad honestly, there were two possible scenarios for us here:

A) If spain had won
- Would mean that if we got 2 draws in remaining games we were guaranteed progression
- If we lost against spain and drew portugal, we would progress if portugal tied/lost to Morocco

B) Current scenario aka draw
- If we get a win against either Spain or Portugal, we are guaranteed progression
- If we draw one of the teams (Portugal most likely) and lose to the other, we would depend on the team we DREW against to lose points against Morocco
- If we draw against both teams, we would be counting on one of them dropping points against Morocco; otherwise, both other teams would progress over us based on goal difference/goals scored
- If we lose against both teams, we are out as both would have a minimum of 4 points

As things stand, our current situation creates more possibilities for us to progress. HOWEVER, two of these involve games that are out of our control AKA how our opponents fare against Morocco. The only one that is completely in our hands is a major upset, a victory over either portugal or spain (or both). In my opinion, a win will be far more difficult for us than acquiring two draws. Either way i'm just going to enjoy our next two matchups, i mean how often will we even get to see our boys against Ronaldo/Ramos/Isco/Silva/Iniesta etc?

CQs mind game on Ronaldo!

Iranians now all should be pro Ronaldo and not pro Messi, who scored a last minute goal against us robbing is out of a point, anymore (hopefully he doesn't play against Iran or scores an own goal) but until that game Ronaldo FTW (especially against Morocco so they field their B team against us in the 3rd game).

As much as I love Ronaldo and was screaming as that free kick hit the target, this is bad for us.
We needed Spain to win the game to have the best chance of progressing. It's gonna be just that much harder now...

Amazing game! One of the best World Cup games I've ever seen. An advert for the entertainment side of football which for me is what the sport should be all about. So many epic moments in the game and even though I wanted Portugal to win I couldn't begrudge the justice of it all finishing 3-3 and making it one of World Cup legend games ever.
Great goals all round, amazing gaff by De Gea and the Nacho and Cristiano goals were just WOW! Especially that free-kick.
