Group B Thread - Iran, Spain, Portugal, Morocco

We should 100% hope Portugal loses or ties tomorrow with Morocco. If they win, they move to 4 points, and with their 3 goals scored already, that puts them in position to escape if we drop any points in these 2 matches.

A tie or loss for them sees us going through with a draw in the final match day. Portugal drew 3 times in Euro 2016, could happen again, and would be great for us.

Don't want our only option to be to beat Portugal. I'd rather have the option of tying to advance. If we have to win, we will open up to attack and lose like to Bosnia in 2014.

I would accept 90 minutes of grassrolling to keep the 0-0 draw with Portugal if they tie or lose tomorrow.

Go Morocco! take some points from Portugal!

There are so many IFs that its not possible to see what would be the best.
If we beat Spain and If Portugal beat Morocco and If we play a draw with Portugal then we will go up and portugal too.

The fact is that even if we loose by an score of 1-0 for me , it is very acceptable.

However our players have huge slef confidence at this point,

Which is something that our TMs in the past never had.

I am very much at peace with myself over this game.

CQ doesn't strike me as the type to make decisions based off the possibility of missing the next game. He'll play what he believes is his strongest team. If someone gets a yellow, then it's next man up. I truly believe he has faith in each of his 23 players.
