As I alreayd said we will WIN we win the game and I am happy. congratulations to us and after 20 years we win a game. In the begin of the match Morocco played very good infront and fast attacking. I did not understant what happend with the fight at the end. We need now 2 draws or atleast 1 win. 5 points is enhough for the next round?

we don't have players in top leagues like morocco. we can't get quality friendlies. we don't even have fields in iran to have a legit camp. we're the only country that had to buy our jerseys. the only country that nike refused to provide cleats. our goalie used to be homeless. the whole world is against us, yet we pulled off a miraculous win. i don't care if its an own goal, i don't care that we don't play joga bonita or that we are boring. this victory is more than just soccer and we die hard TM fans know this, thats why we all went ape shit when we scored. i am still in disbelief. alexi lalas can go fuck himself. we don't have a "mo" salah or a ronaldo, but who gives a shit, TM together with the training staff and supportive fans is all we need. I'm so proud of our TM i can't explain it. guys like cheshmi, ramin, omid, amiri, beiranvand, hell even shojaei lol rose to the occasion when we needed them to and fought for our country. this is a victory for the Iranian people. first in 20 fucking years. we all deserve this victory. I've never been this ecstatic over a victory or goal in my life. its just amazing and i know everyone here understands what I'm talking about. CQ is one ballsy crazy mofo. god bless this man, if ali karimi, ghalanoei or some other shit head coached our TM ohhhh boy what a disaster it would be. happy that we can build on this now. hopefully we can surprise spain and steal some points. go TM!!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations everyone, what a big fantastic win for Iran and all TM fans. I was too excited for an hour to write and it was on to watching Spain-Portugal after and too tired after that!

We got off to a really shaky start which we can't afford to do in the next two matches, but the boys gave it 110% in a bizarre line-up and in that sense everyone deserves a 10, even Masoud who just shouldn't be in the team.

Outside of that, everyone's performance was pretty much predictable... all the players we all knew would shine at the WC, like Ebrahimi (absolute beast), PAG, Rezaeian and ARJ did exactly that.

The players that were somewhat questionable going into the tournament, like Beiranvand and Karim obviously stepped up their game and shined as well and outside the first 20 minutes, even Cheshmi and Amiri did okay - although I would neither call it shining nor use them again against Spain or Portugal - I think Cheshmi has a good career ahead of him while we have better replacements for Amiri going into the Asian Cup.

Ehsan was also in a tough position he's not really comfortable with so hats off to him for that performance. Shojaei was obviously going to be a disappointment and he delivered on being disappointing like clockwork - his inclusion in the team was and still is very questionable if his only purpose was not to replace Ezi for the 1st match.

And I've always said that Azmoun is not a even a 60 minute player, let alone a 90 minute player He really should be our super-sub not starter. Overall, I think we could have beaten Morocco comfortably with a better line-up and more creativity in attack as they were pretty much out of the match by the 35' minute and completely out of it by the 75th minute - again as was predicted.

I just hope Ebrahimi's not hurt and he'll be fit to play against Spain and looking forward to seeing Ezi instead of Masoud, Ghoddos instead of Amiri, Montazeri instead of Cheshmi and Gucci instead of Azmoun with him coming in after the 60' minute as a sub. We dfinitely need to be more organized for the next two matches from the start but things are looking really good after seeing Spain & Portugal's defense.
